On the afternoon of January 30, Chen Hongxing, secretary of the Xunyang Municipal Party Committee of Shaanxi Province, and his party came to Ankang to visit and comfort Wang Tingde, a disabled writer from Xunyang, and sent Yin Yin blessings and care.
Chen Hongxing highly praised Wang Tingde's spirit of self-reliance, hard work, and eagerness to learn, and encouraged him to continue to work hard and achieve good results. He urged the staff of the Disabled Persons' Federation to vigorously publicize such advanced models as Wang Tingde, tell inspirational stories, and drive more disabled people to become self-reliant, start a business and find employment.
Wang Tingde is a villager in Tongqianguan Town, Xunyang City, and is currently a temporary librarian of Ankang City Library. He is a disabled person who has created and published millions of words of works, and has published autobiographical documentary literature "The World Does Not Need to Look Up" and the poetry collection "Lamp of the Heart", and has been praised as an "inspirational writer". The Wang Tingde Book Club, which he founded, was awarded the "National Volunteer Service Excellent Case" in 2019 for insisting on doing public welfare activities and inspirational reports for 6 years, which was well received by the society.
