As the year draws to a close, gas appliances, as one of the indispensable household kitchen utensils for residents, are closely related to the personal and property safety of consumers. In order to prevent risks from the source and avoid counterfeit and shoddy products from flowing into the market, in recent days, the Shuangpai County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau has carried out special rectification actions for the quality and safety of gas cookers throughout the county.
Law enforcement personnel have successively gone deep into the county BBK supermarket electrical appliance franchise area, Master Lu electrical appliance store, Vantage gas stove franchise store and other stove sales units, focusing on checking whether to sell products without factory name and other product identification that do not meet the requirements of the standard; whether to establish a purchase and sales account; whether to sell commercial and household gas cookers without flameout protection devices; whether to sell products that have not been certified by the "3C"; and whether to sell products that are counterfeit and inferior, shoddy or have serious quality and safety problems.
Up to now, the bureau has dispatched a total of 86 law enforcement personnel, checked more than 20 gas appliance sales enterprises, inspected more than 100 gas cookers, and found no safety hazards in the quality of cooker products.
Shuangpai County Market Supervision and Administration Bureau reminds consumers that there are many kinds of gas cookers on the market, and consumers must go to regular stores to buy qualified products with 3C compulsory certification marks when purchasing gas appliances, and choose gas stoves with automatic flameout protection devices. A gas stove with a flameout automatic protector with two needles on the stove head, one is an ignition needle, usually white, and the other is a temperature probe for the protective device, usually golden or silver. With the automatic flameout protection device, when boiling water or boiling soup, in the case of unguarded situation, if an accidental flameout occurs, it will automatically cut off the gas path to avoid gas leakage.
