Recently, Huang Jiannan, winner of the Gold Medal of the Global Philanthropy Alliance and the internationally acclaimed chief artist of the LABA Beverly Arts Festival Blue Chip, was interviewed by the media on how Chinese artists can seize the right to speak in international art. I went abroad more than ten years ago, to Italy, to the Grand Palais in Paris, and I won the grand prize every time. I participated in the seventh or eighth edition of the Grand Palais de Paris Art Exhibition, and at that time I was very interested in many paintings abroad, and my eyes lit up, and I thought that the paintings were good. However, in the past few years, I feel that their level is not very good, and I still tell people how the world has gone backwards. Later, a sentence said by others made me wake up, not that they regressed, but that I improved. I'm now progressing so much that I feel like they don't have any secrets. Style, technology, thinking, they have nothing new, I keep working hard to improve my level.

Over the years, I feel more and more confident. Chinese culture is broad and profound, and Chinese and so diligent, so there are many good Chinese painters, but they have not been discovered.

In the past, in order to survive, there was not so much energy to think so much, the painting things were more limited, and the influence of the concept was also accepted, so Chinese painting was not very popular in foreign countries, in Europe and the United States, and was very valued. In fact, I found that it is not unappreciated, and some big critics and big art exhibitions have studied Chinese ink painting. However, after all, they are foreigners with different blood, and they do not have that artistic atmosphere.

You see, the big French artists and critics gave me comments, and they said that although I painted European and Western oil paintings, my style still flowed with the blood of the Chinese national tradition. My heritage comes from traditional education, and I was born and raised in the Chinese environment, and I am accustomed to the landscape and water of the motherland, so my foundation is still Chinese.

Later, I slowly saw some good things in the West and integrated them into it, but my foundation was still the foundation of Chinese painting. So, the oil paintings I paint are completely different from the Oil paintings in Europe. My oil paintings have more charm, just like Chinese paintings. Chinese painting says that I splash ink and I pour oil, which is how I paint the oil as colored and haloed, just like the taste of the ink slowly deepening. This is a very masterful art.

I'm currently at the Beverly Arts Festival and I feel confident. I haven't been to the United States, and none of the 30 co-chairs have met me. Why did I have such an impact, arguably changing the state of art history in the United States and the world more than 20 times? You see, the official website of the Beverly Arts Festival has changed the homepage of the website five times, and all of them are paintings of me, which shows that people recognize me. The world's selection is based on my artistic level.
People must be firm-willed, I firmly believe in my belief, light cultural self-confidence is not enough, but also cultural self-awareness, to consciously maintain their own culture and art! Some people say that I don't paint in a different way, I don't have a foreign or a soil, but I stick to my beliefs, and I firmly believe that my path is right. Your opinion is your opinion. People must have firm confidence and have grand goals.
It can be said that under the current Sino-US relations, I can get such a high evaluation from the United States, cause a sensation, and set off huang Jiannan's art storm several times, which is to win glory for the Chinese nation, self-confidence in Chinese culture, seize the artistic highland for the Chinese nation, and seize the right to speak!
Over the past few decades, my struggle has paid off. I will continue to work hard. I think that European and American people will understand and harmonize Chinese art step by step, and will no longer say that paintings Chinese paintings are not enough as before.
