On September 1, Hangzhou Jiang Zhuying School held a grand renaming ceremony and the opening ceremony of the first semester of the 2021 academic year.
The school specially invited the family of Mr. Jiang Zhuying, an outstanding alumnus, to participate in the name change ceremony.
Alumnus Jiang Zhuying is an excellent representative of intellectuals and has influenced a group of Zhuying students.
"I heard the spirit of Chikuei taking root and penetrating into the hearts of every Chikuei. I saw the spirit of Chikuei sprouting and growing in the hearts of every Chikuei. A "Hymn of Zhuying" expresses the praise and admiration of Zhuying students for Jiang Zhuying.
Principal Mei Shengjun passionately recounted the brief history of the renaming of Jiang Zhuying School in Hangzhou.
Hangzhou Jiang Zhuying School was formerly known as Hangzhou Funing Lane Primary School. The school was founded in 1908.
From 1948 to 1950, the famous optical expert Jiang Zhuying studied at the school and was one of the most outstanding and well-known alumni of the school.
In 1984, the school established the Jiang Zhuying Squadron, and Jiang Zhuying's father, Jiang Shumin, served as the first off-campus counselor. In May 1996, with the care and help of Mrs. Jiang Zhuying's wife, Ms. Lu Changqin, and all sectors of society and the education bureau in charge, the school built the "Jiang Zhuying Memorial Hall". In 2005, the school built the floor of the memorial hall into the "Jiang Zhuying Science and Technology Museum".
Witnessed by all the teachers and students and all the guests, Director Xiang Haigang announced that Hangzhou Funing Lane Primary School was officially renamed Hangzhou Jiang Zhuying School. With the take-off of drones, Hangzhou Jiang Zhuying School has embarked on a new journey.
After the unveiling ceremony, all grade classes carried out the red technology garden tour activity of the light-chasing tour.
