This year's Australian Open is destined to belong to Barty. From the first round, the top seed did not lose a set and reached the final. Of the first five games of the women's singles tournament, Barty played four of them. Collins, although unsuccessful in lifting the cup, also set his best result in reaching the first Grand Slam final. The two have played each other four times before, with Barty winning three and losing one.

In the first set, the two men played decently and evenly matched. The turning point came in the 6th inning, collins served double-fault, allowing Barty to break through smoothly and win the first set 6:3.

The temporary defeat and the audience's tsunami of support for Barty Hill stirred up the fighting spirit of the American girl. At the start of the second set, Collins broke the band to a small 3-0 surge and extended the advantage to 5:1. But Barty didn't mess up, gritting his teeth and persevering, making two key breaks in the 7th and 9th innings to bring the score to 5:5 before moving into the seventh.

However, Collins, in the great change of the situation on the court, has fluctuated in mentality and frequent unforced mistakes. Barty led all the way to 5-1 on the seventh, holding four championship points in his hand and winning the game with a beautiful forehand.

After the match, Australian women's tennis legend, 14-time Grand Slam and 4-time Australian Open winner Yvonne Gulagun Cowley, as a special guest, handed the Daphne Akhurst Memorial Cup to Barty at the award ceremony. Barty's parents also came to Melbourne from Brisbane to witness their daughter's victory.

"I'm lucky to have so many people here tonight who love and support me... My dream finally came true. Barty said.

This victory also allowed Barty to win his third Grand Slam women's singles title after the 2019 French Open and last year's Wimbledon.
