Danny: CoreJJ and hanssama are on the pitch and it's going to be fun

In the semi-finals of 2022 LCS Lock-in, EG swept the C9 and they qualified for the LCS final, where EG has won their top eight of the season and is currently the only team at LCS to remain unbeaten; they will face TL in the LCS Lock In final tomorrow morning.

After the game, EG's ADC player Danny was interviewed by foreign media INVEN, and he talked about EG's performance in this Lock In, the impact of his own excellent performance on the team's rookie single jojopyun debut, and what he believes makes EG a cradle for cultivating the new generation of players in the NA division. The details are as follows:

Q: C9 selected many heroes who had not yet appeared in this Lock In tournament in this semi-final. Is this something you didn't expect?

A: Their BP in the last innings was indeed disengaged from the version. They didn't choose the heroes we thought they would choose, and that really bothered us.

Q: Any thoughts on tomorrow's match against TL in the Lock In final?

A: It excites me to be on CoreJJ or Hans sama, depending on who they send. But I also know they're going to send a down-road combination of Hans sama and Eyla, but it's exciting. TL is a strong contender for LCS's Number One seed and I'm thrilled to be able to play against them. Or so it seems.

Q: But there's also a chance for Hans sama and CoreJJ to play at the same time, isn't it? As long as they let the cadet team start on singles Bradley to free up a foreign aid spot.

A: Yeah, if they did, I think it would be a really fun, great game

Q: There's a lot to say about your team's single jojopyun debut at LCS Lock In. As a rookie player who has been making his LCS debut for less than a year, how do you think he performed in the game?

A: I was very impressed with jojopyun's performance in the game. He's a very good player, he's very confident... Maybe sometimes he's even a little arrogant, but I think he's proud. He's really very good. I think his performance in Lock In is enough to make him a single player in the top two of the LCS.

Q: Although Jiizuke had a good performance last season, people seem to trust the new singles player Jojopyun after he left this season. Do you think your success last year is why he's been so trusted? Or has he already shown his talent and deserves more trust?

A: Yes, I think so. EG is undoubtedly refreshing in terms of cultivating the new generation of players in the entire NA division. This has led to more trust in our players, and even though Jiizuke left jojopyun to join, we were still able to do well.

Q: What has allowed you to achieve so much in terms of player development while many other CLUBS have failed?

A: I think it's all the buddies we have (referring to the sparring and coaching staff); they've all helped me and jojopyun, and it's their efforts that make us who we are now. I'm really grateful to them.
