Moncler stated in the Important Notice on Personal Data that as soon as the Company discovers such unauthorized access, it has taken appropriate security measures aimed at minimizing its impact, determining how it occurred, and taking immediate corrective action.

Moncler mentioned that what can be confirmed is the existence of unauthorized access that may reveal some personal data, including contact details and/or data related to the purchase. Data relating to payment methods (iban, credit cards or others) and/or identity documents (ID cards, passports or others) are not stored in the system and have not been compromised.

Moncler apologized for the incident and said it had been promptly reported to the police and the Italian data protection authorities.

Moncler said that in accordance with the practice, especially in such cases, in order to minimize the possibility of identity theft and fraud attempts, Moncler advises consumers to be vigilant about communications from third parties that appear to know certain information, and not to use authentication information (IDs, passwords, etc.) that can be easily identified or inferred from personal data.
