Excavated in March 1986 in Matai Village, Sandu Township, Yanglin District, this cultural relic was popular during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period.
The hammer is well preserved, turquoise, bright color, the top of the vessel is an oval flat plate, the disc is extravagant, the middle of the plate is placed in the tiger button, the tiger limbs stand upright, the head is fat, the eyes are protruding, the teeth are grinning, the ears are attached to the head, the tiger body is decorated with deformed "Yue" patterns, the tail is drooping, and the tail end is rolled up. The maximum diameter of the whole device is at the shoulder, from the shoulder down to the mouth to form an oval straight cylinder. The inside of the vessel is hollow, the lower end is bottomless, and the tiger's body and mouth are hollow. Its main function is to be used as a command in the military, often combined with drums, plutonium, duo, the playing method is: two people carry a wood, under the suspension of a hammer, a brass drum, next to a person holding a hammer to play. Because the "tiger" is a Ba people totem, most scholars believe that the tiger button is related to the Ba people.
Eastern Han Dynasty tiger-shaped copper belt hook
Excavated in October 1990 in the Eastern Han Stone Chamber Tomb of Buzhuang River, more than 1900 years ago, it is a national first-class cultural relic. Tiger-shaped copper belt hook length 9.8 cm, width 5.7 cm, thickness 1.5 cm, button surface as an arc, curved tail is hook-shaped, the overall shape is like a running tiger, limbs stretched, the body is healthy, showing a leap in the air, not only showing the majesty of the tiger, but also full of cute atmosphere, exquisite and beautiful, lifelike.
The belt hook is the hook of the belt worn by the ancient nobles and literati warriors, also known as the "rhinoceros", mostly cast in bronze, but also made of gold, silver, iron, jade and so on. The belt hook is equivalent to our current belt buckle, which is mostly used by men. Ancients clothing without belts and buttons, mostly sewn a belt, this belt is the original belt, although the belt is tied tightly when dressing, but when the body movements are too much, there is often a loose belt, in order to avoid such embarrassing scenes, in the Western Zhou Dynasty, there was a "hook", used for belt fixation, the Warring States to the Qin and Han Dynasties were widely popular.
