"Old Zheng Flew to Heaven"

This is the most anticipated film in THIS YEAR's FIRST, mainly zhang Songwen's acting skills. Zhang Songwen played this old Zheng I still quite like, he played the old Zheng's nest strength and swelling are just right.
This film tells the story of a middle-aged man in the northwest, Lao Zheng, who accidentally became a live broadcast Internet celebrity when he fell into a low point in his life, so he decided to break the dilemma and reverse his role of being bullied since childhood.
In the process, he met the homeless middle school student Liang Liang and developed feelings like father and son.
The story of "Old Zheng Flew to Heaven" is just like the title, it is about Old Zheng, a middle-aged man who did not die because of retirement, divorce, and being bullied into committing suicide. The main thing he wants to express is the loneliness of middle-aged people, and lao Zheng is extremely eager to find self-worth.
Director Wang Xiaofeng said in the FIRST "Homecoming Talk" activity that when writing the script, there was a momentum, and he used his half life to fight with you.
It may be naïve and naïve, but it's like using this method to prove your worth. Lao Zheng was also created on this basis, and this role also has the director's own inner projection.
Old Zheng was looked down upon and squeezed by everyone, but he was still resisting.
"What the hell are you resisting?" The director explained in the post-screening Q&A that "this is the powerlessness of people to middle age", but life still has to go on.
The only uncomfortable thing is that when watching the movie, sitting in the front row, the camera shakes badly, which is really a bit dizzy.

"Turbid Water Rafting"

First's first movie I saw the next day, "Drifting in Turbid Water," was a very heavy and profound film. It tells the story of rough sleepers in Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong.
Newly released from prison, Hui Ge returns to Sham Shui Po to sleep, but his belongings are completely cleaned up, and he and his neighbors rely on each other to build a wooden house under the overpass, while kind social workers are helping them find justice.
After winning an out-of-court settlement and being compensated, the sleepers outside of Hui Ge wanted to sign the matter, and Hui Ge insisted on getting an apology. Eventually, Hui Ge burned endlessly in that separate log cabin.
Before the film screening, director Li Junshuo recorded a short video and released it before the screening, and did not say much, just hoping that everyone would like it. This is adapted from a real story, which is also a more social story, showing the difficult life of the rough sleepers in Sham Shui Po, and in them I feel that it is difficult to live alone.
The rendering of each part of Turbid Water Rafting is a plus.
Photography has some documentary lens pictures, which can show the architecture and human feelings of Hong Kong, and also record the purity of their lives as bystanders; the background music is just right, which can convey the feelings of the audience at that time very well; the story is very powerful, there is no suspicion of deliberate sensationalism, only in those ordinary dialogues and scenes, I can also feel their powerlessness.
In the film, the acting skills of Wu Zhenyu and Xie Junhao are very eye-catching, there is no hysteria that cannot change the status quo, you can feel their sense of powerlessness and floating in the face of life, and now I think it is still a little sad.
Each of the other rough sleepers has a distinct personality and a way of life, and everyone is together in the first half of the film, and everyone is scattered in the second half.
The boy who plays the organ may be the only hope in the film, but he is separated from his family, sleeps outside for eight years, and is lucky to be reunited with his family.
But the real rough sleeper is a lifetime, even if like the old man played by Xie Junhao, get in touch with his son, but he also feels humble, and he will shake his head repeatedly when his son proposes to come to see him when he is in the video with his son, only to say "It is good to talk like this."
The ending is cruel, the old man did not meet with his son, and decided to commit suicide on the night he learned everything about his son.
Society cannot tolerate them, nor does it care about the suffering of these rough sleepers, who are driven away again and again, without justice. Are they free, but their winters are cold.
In the final ending, Hui Ge also walked the same path as the old man, and at the end of the film, the log cabin that burned alone, all hopes were burned out.
Today, the stories of life are still told.

"No Problem"

Then the last "Turbid Water Drifting", from the heavy heart to the witty and relaxed "No Problem", this state is really a bit difficult to convert.
"No Problem" is a very straightforward expression of the father-daughter relationship, the father in order to let the daughter graduate smoothly, everywhere to support the relationship, racking his brains must make the daughter complete her studies, all this the father does is commonly known as "for your own good". But the daughter's dream is her rock band, the father does not understand the daughter, and neither father nor daughter compromises.
The background of the film is based on the phenomenon of brain drain and aging in the northeast. Very few people stay in their hometown to work, and after graduation they go to Beijing to Shanghai and shenzhen.
There is no right or wrong to leave their hometown, and it is good that young people can find a place where they can carry their dreams. There are still many outdated elements in the film, but that doesn't mean they don't have power.
"No Problem" complements the director's previous "Dog Hunt Revelation". All are the bottlenecks in the development of the northeast environment, some people say that it is a geopolitical problem, and some people think that it is a policy aspect.
Either way, both films are a reproduction of life.
Director Jiang Jiachen himself has the experience of a teacher, and also combines the things he has experienced, including the plot of his grandmother's death in the film, and the director has also personally experienced it.
At a certain age, something will be slowly lost, so this film is basically the director's allegorical creation.
The most important thing in the film is the family bond, no matter how different the father and daughter's three views are, the kinship cannot be worn away. The first half of the story has been tit-for-tat between the two, and the rhythm of the second half of the film has slowly stabilized, perhaps slightly out of touch with the front, probably the director wants to let the emotions of the father's character sink.
A little attention will reveal that the colors of "No Problem" are very bold, and each character has its own main color. The father's main color is red, warm and bold; the daughter's main color is green, free and full of vitality; the teacher's color is blue, fresh and mysterious; the color of the pony is yellow, lively and restless.
Every character is taken into account, but they don't have an ending, and even when the movie is over, we don't see a reconciliation between the father and the daughter. The state of the pony's relationship with her daughter, the life of the teacher and her son, and the grades of her daughter, these are all without a foothold.
Everyone has no end, but life is also not over, it is always continuous.
