Villa's low-key "0 yuan purchase" signed Chambers, and The possibility of Hernenni's transfer to the Turkish Super League is reduced

Chambers joined Aston Villa on a permanent transfer, a deal that surprised most people.

Chambers became a forgotten player because all the focus was on Arsenal's signings, but the defender is now signed by Villa.

Chambers, 27, signed Vera to a 3.5-year contract with which the transfer fee was not made public. But according to reports, Arsenal sent the £16m-in-the-man defender out of charge, but saved £2m in wages. He joined Arsenal from Southampton in 2014 and his contract expires at the end of the season.

Surprisingly, there were no rumors in the media before the deal was announced, which is almost rare in today's day and age.

The sale of Chambers left the Gunners at right-back with Two substitutes, Jianyang Fuan and Suarez and Ben White. Such a person is not deep, but it may be enough to cope with the remaining 17 games. The team is expected to sign a younger long-term substitute (e.g. Taylor Adams) in the summer window.

The deal makes Ernenni the longest-serving player in the team. Bellerin has been on longer terms but is currently on loan to Real Betis and is likely to be sold in the summer window. With Bellerin on loan, there is no longer a single member of the current squad that won the 2015 FA Cup, and after six seasons the entire squad has been completely transformed.

Chambers never cashed in on his talent at Arsenal. He was a fringe player for England when he joined the Gunners, making three appearances for the national team in 2014. In Arsenal' squad, he struggled to get a starting spot, in part because of Bellerin at right-back and Koscieln and Merdesack at centre-back. Similar to Holden, Chambers always seems to suffer injuries when he starts to find form, most recently a cruciate ligament tear before December 2019.

Elneney's transfer to Fenerbahce was once promising, but Arsenal's midfield problems make the deal less likely.

Mark Mann-Bryans reported that Ernenni's move to Fenerbahce was once imminent, but now it seems increasingly unlikely.

With Arsenal likely not bringing in any midfielders before Monday's trade deadline and the midfield has faced a shortage of manpower in the past few rounds, Herneny is expected to leave.

Of course, this may only be a stopgap measure, his contract will expire this summer, and it will be difficult to stay longer.

Ernenni has made 10 appearances for Arsenal this season, but hasn't actually played much time, playing just 422 minutes in all competitions, adding up to less than five games combined.

The Egypt international could be a useful substitute when Thomas and Xhaka keep getting red cards, but when the two can play, he can't get too many chances.

Ernenni is still competing in the Africa Cup of Nations, and apart from U23 player Ray Kirkeke, he is the only Arsenal player to advance to the quarter-finals of the tournament.
