Wang Hongwei, a master of Chinese wood carving art, born in 1973 in Yixian County, Liaoning Province, began to engage in the wood carving industry in 1992, and in 2008, he entered the Zhejiang Provincial Arts and Crafts Master Zheng Jianfu to learn the art of ancient shen wood carving.
His works have won more than 20 domestic awards
In 2014, he participated in the 4th "Yiding Cup" Chinese Wood Carving On-site Creation Competition and won the silver medal of the individual competition and won the title of "China Wood Carving List"
His work "Zen Leisure" was shortlisted for the Yulon International Wood Carving Competition in Taiwan and was permanently collected by the Sanyi Wood Sculpture Museum in Taiwan
In May 2014, he was awarded the title of "Traditional Chinese Artist"
In 2016, he was invited to participate in the China Wood Carving Elite Invitational Competition, and his work "Futian" was permanently collected by the "Yiding Cup" Organizing Committee
