Zhou Han, from Huanggang, Hubei Province, 500 kilometers away, is a "foreigner" from Poshan Village in Qizili Town, Shexian County, and a "new son-in-law" of Poshan Village. Speaking of his fate with Huangshan, it also starts with a ride he used in 2013. When passing through Huangshan Mountain, he looked up and saw a Huipai house on the far mountain, which was as beautiful as a fairyland, and since then "Huizhou" has left a mark in Zhou Han's heart. After traveling to Poshan, he was immediately attracted by this alpine village, and the idea of "staying in Huangshan to start a business" was born. After some investigation, he found that Huangshan not only has a profound cultural heritage, but also has good conditions for innovation and entrepreneurship, and is very "friendly" to young people from other places who come to Huangshan. As a result, Zhou Han gave up his stable job in Shanghai, chose to settle in Poshan, Shexian County, and founded the "Zen Copper Hut" studio.
Inside the "Zen Copper Hut", the jingling wind chimes are constantly heard, and at the same time, a sandalwood fragrance can be faintly smelled, and the calligraphy and paintings with the words "Enlightenment follow the fate" are hung on the wall on the left side of the hut, and all kinds of bronzes in the hut are displayed neatly. Today, Zhou Han has spent more than 3 years in Poshan, he said bluntly: "I like to climb mountains and like to contact with nature, and the good natural and cultural environment of Poshan has given me a lot of creative inspiration, and also made my works closer to nature." Zhou Han said that he constantly groped, looking for creative inspiration in the mountains, and striving to integrate natural scenes into artistic creation, and the bronzeware produced was no longer limited to copper pots. He made discarded tree roots into copper pot handles, simulated natural forms, and created tea with tung leaves, chestnut leaves, and ginkgo biloba leaf-like tea leaks. Ingenious ideas continue to emerge, and Zhou Han's works are both exquisite and chic, but also full of natural wild interest. "This ginkgo biloba tea leak is the sales champion in the store, and it basically sells out as soon as it is new." Zhou Han proudly introduced that from the first finished product to the present, both the process and the shape have been improved, and the color treatment is becoming more and more abundant, so the market recognition is getting higher and higher.
In the past few years, affected by the epidemic, Huangshan's traditional tourism industry has been affected to a certain extent, which has also brought a lot of challenges to Zhou Han in entrepreneurship, fortunately, he fully uses dual channels for sales, offline to attract tourists to Huangshan tourism and participate in the Shexian Intangible Cultural Heritage Night Market harvested customer groups, online with the help of "micro-stores" and the accumulated customer circle, the studio's annual sales climb year by year, from more than 200,000 yuan in the first year to more than 600,000 yuan.
In addition to his career gains, Zhou Han has also won a lot of recognition and attention, and made new friends. In 2021, Zhou Han shared his entrepreneurial story as a youth representative at the youth creative innovation and entrepreneurship exchange activities held in our city, and was elected as a member of the Fifth Committee of the Huangshan Youth Federation, and was awarded the title of "The Most Beautiful Young Farmer" by the first youth to help rural revitalization leader in SheXian County... "These honors are both recognition and encouragement to me."
