Porto player Luis Diaz has made it clear that he would prefer to join Liverpool in the Premier League than Tottenham Hotspur.
The Porto winger's wish is about to materialize in the final moments of the January transfer window.

Luis Diaz is a Colombian player aged 25. This season, the winger has made 28 appearances for Porto, scoring 16 goals and assisting six times.
Among them, Luis Diaz also scored two goals against AC Milan in the Champions League.
The player had previously looked likely to join Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, but after negotiations between the two sides reached a stalemate, Liverpool quickly took action.

This isn't the first time Spurs have been in the final moments of player trade negotiations where the deal has broken. Last season, Benfica centre-back Díaz finally joined Manchester City, which was a precedent. Before that, there was Dybala of Juventus.
