The British jazz singer Amy Wynnhouse, who died young, is a favorite of many fans. Recently, producer Halcyon announced that it is producing a biopic about Amy Waynehouse. The film will be based on Daphne Barak's 2010 biographical work Saving Amy.

The original book finds clues to the life of Amy Wynnhouse from a large number of historical materials, and completes the narration of Amy Wynnhouse's life. Author Daphne Barak draws on Amy's life from 40 hours of audio recordings, photographs and exclusive documents. In addition, the book was assisted by Amy and her family. During the last three years of Amy's life, she provided the author with countless exclusive first-hand accounts.

Born in 1983, Amy Whitehouse is considered one of the preeminent jazz singers of her time, and her songs seem to come from the unfathomable heart, with a seductive magic. Sadly, however, Amy has become a prisoner of success, media, emotions and lifestyle. In this society, people admire her talent on the one hand, and on the other hand, they are mercilessly hurting and consuming her.

On July 23, 2011, singer Amy Wynnhouse, who had won six Grammy Trophies, passed away at the age of 27. The cause of death at the time said she had died of alcohol poisoning, but multiple autopsies showed that eating disorders and drug abuse had already weakened her body. In 2015, a documentary called Amy was released, which told the story of Amy's life. The film subsequently won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
