On the afternoon of January 26, Chen Ye, secretary of the party group and director of the Provincial Radio, Film and Television Bureau, presided over a meeting to convey and study the spirit of the speech made by Zheng Zhajie, secretary of the provincial party committee, at the special meeting on preventing and responding to low-temperature rain, snow and ice disasters, and study and implement measures. Chen Ye pointed out that in the face of the upcoming low-temperature rain and snow weather, it is necessary to resolutely overcome the paralyzing thinking and luck mentality, further strengthen organizational leadership, comprehensively do a good job in prevention and response, and ensure that the province's radio and television broadcasts are safely broadcast during the Spring Festival re-guarantee period and that there are no accidents in safe production.

On the work of preventing and responding to low-temperature rain, snow and ice, Chen Ye stressed: First, it is necessary to strengthen the investigation of hidden risks at alpine stations, transmission lines, and old houses in living areas, and make disaster prevention and response plans in advance. Second, it is necessary to strengthen the guidance of public opinion, organize radio and television and online audio-visual media, give full play to the role of emergency broadcasting as the "end", timely release emergency information and authoritative information on the response of local party committees and governments to ice and snow disasters, widely popularize the knowledge of snow prevention and frost prevention, and continuously enhance the ability to prevent and resist disasters. Third, in connection with activities such as "going to the grass-roots level in the New Year," we should publicize the typical deeds of the vast number of cadres and the masses in facing the ice and snow, especially the dedication of front-line traffic police, sanitation workers, firefighting officers and men, and other personnel. Fourth, we must strictly implement the 24-hour duty and leadership system, do a solid job in emergency preparations, strengthen emergency drills, and immediately start emergency response in accordance with the plan once a safety accident occurs, and properly respond to it in the shortest possible time.
