The reporter learned from the Chinese Embassy in Ireland on the 26th that most members of the Irish delegation participating in the Beijing Winter Olympics are scheduled to depart for Beijing on the same day, and the rest of the delegation has arrived in Beijing as an advance team. The Irish Olympic Committee recently announced the list of 20 people to participate in the Beijing Winter Olympics. Ireland will send six athletes, including two women. They will compete in alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, freestyle skiing, bobsleigh and snowboarding.
