This is the eastern gate of the motherland on the sea. After following her husband to the room and the island, Wang Shihua's heart was even cooler, the island was overgrown with weeds, the sea breeze was whistling, there was no water, no electricity, not even a single tree, and the conditions were extremely harsh.
Before Wang Jicai went to the island, Kaishan Island had been guarded by 4 groups of more than 10 people, but the longest stayed for 13 days. Two months after Wang Shihua went to the island, the national flag was raised for the first time on Kaishan Island, which was proposed by Lao Wang. Since then, the couple has raised the five-star red flag on the island every day, routinely patrolled the island in the morning and evening, rescued ships in distress at sea, and completed the records of the coastal defense log every day... But Wang Jicai failed to deliver on his promise. On July 27, 2018, Wang Jicai, who was only 58 years old, suddenly fell ill on the island and fell down forever.
On August 6 of that year, Wang Shihua resolutely submitted an application to the organization to continue to guard the island, and she wanted to continue to guard the island and protect the national flag.
After that, more militia on duty were ushered in on Kaishan Island, the duty system was more perfect, and the living conditions continued to improve.
