Serqu Dolma was born into a poor family in Lhasa, and only after the peaceful liberation of Tibet did she have the opportunity to study. In 1965, Tibet translated the first Tibetan film After the Harvest, in which Serqu Dolma participated in the dubbing of several characters in the play.
