Sky Sports reported that Wolves have activated the optional buyout clause of Leipzig striker Huang Xican, and the official news will be announced later today.

Wolves activated Huang Xican's buyout clause and will officially sign him this summer. In August last year, the two clubs signed a loan contract with Huang Xican for a buyout fee of around £12 million.

Huang Xican and Wolves have agreed on a 4-year signing, and the deal is expected to be officially confirmed later today.

South Korean striker Hwang Hee-chan, 26, has made 18 appearances for Wolves this season, contributing four goals and one assist.
