Story: The legend of "There is a bear clan"

The Youxiong clan is a clan in the ancient Chinese tribe in the historical tradition, the title of the Yellow Emperor's tribe, living in the Bear, establishing the Bear Kingdom, so later generations are commensurate with the Xiong clan. The use of the Xiong clan as a clan title began with The Shōnen. Both the Shichuan Yan Emperor and the Yellow Emperor were the sons of Shaodian, both from a branch of the Youxiong clan, and later generations also called the Yan Emperor and the Yellow Emperor the Shennong clan and the Xuanyuan clan.

Story: The legend of "There is a bear clan"

A long time ago, a Shaodian tribe lived along the Jishui River at Mount Kuci (in present-day southwest of Xinzheng City, Henan). The leader of the Shaodian tribe is called Shaodian . This young man was big and rocky, had a strong bow, and shot a good arrow, often alone with a bow and arrows, in and out of the mountains and forests, shooting birds and beasts.

Once, Shaodian ran into the mountains to the west for half a day, and only hunted a few pheasants and hares. Hunters have a rule, the first half of the day to go outside, the day to noon to have to go back, generally do not spend the night in the mountains. Shaodian sat under a big tree, ate some dry food, wanted to rest for a while and walked back, but unconsciously fell asleep. In the haze, he felt something gently push his arm, and jumped up in shock, and it turned out to be a big bear standing in front of him.

This bear is simply a big bull, much bigger than ordinary bears. Hunters know that this is the leader of the bear herd, and people call him General Bear, which is rarely seen in ordinary times.

General Xiong saw Shaodian wake up and quickly knelt on the ground and prostrated his head. Thinking that it was begging its prey to satisfy its hunger, Shaodian picked up a pheasant and threw it at it. It ignores it, just kowtows. When General Xiong saw that Shaodian did not understand its meaning, he turned around and crouched down under Shaodian's crotch, swinging his head, and shouting softly, signaling Shaodian to ride on it. Seeing that General Xiong had done this repeatedly, he seemed to still have tears in his eyes, and guessed that there must be something urgent and difficult to ask him, so he took up his bow, took the arrow, and rode on the back of General Xiong.

General Xiong rode Shaodian in the mountains and did not know how many roads he had run, entering a gloomy Grand Canyon, and gradually slowed down. Its whole body trembled.

This canyon is full of towering ancient trees, dense and gloomy, and there is no daylight. As General Bear walked, he looked around, as if afraid that something would eat it in one bite.

General Xiong walked slowly for about three or five miles and came to a stop on a flat bluestone. There is a white fruit tree next to the bluestone, which is more than ten meters high. General Xiong leaned against the big tree, leaned against the tree, shook his head, shouted softly, and signaled Shaodian to climb up the tree.

Story: The legend of "There is a bear clan"

Shaodian carried a bow and arrow and climbed up the trunk of the tree. General Bear stood under the tree and looked up at him. When he climbed to the neck of the tree and tried to stop, General Bear shook his head and raised his front paws directly to the top of the tree, signaling him to climb up again. Shaodian climbed up again and stopped, riding on a branch. General Bear walked around the tree to look around, knelt down and prostrated, and then left.

The sun had set, and The Young Man rested in the tree. There was nothing to do all night, until the next day at dawn, Shaodian saw two bright lights flickering on the flat bluestone, and he couldn't see what monster it was, and after a while, he saw that it was a giant beast. It was huge, its coat was dark, and it was standing there quietly, as if waiting for something.

After a while, it was dawn, and out of the canyon came a group of bears, more than a hundred. The one at the front was particularly large, and at a glance he knew that it was the bear general who had driven him here yesterday, and was leading the bears slowly towards here.

They lined up to walk to the beast, lying on the ground together, at the mercy of the beast. The behemoth walked into the bears, slaughtered two, and ate them on the spot. After that, the bears trembled and left.

Shao Dian witnessed this miserable scene among the beasts, and finally understood General Xiong's intentions: ask him to get rid of this giant beast. He drew his bow and drew arrows, drew it all over, and was condescending, firing three arrows in a row. The beast was wounded, looked around, did not know where the arrows came from, and roared loudly. The trees were shaken like a strong wind.

Seeing that the three arrows had not hit the key point, Shaodian emerged from the leaves and shouted twice at the giant beast, leading it closer. The giant beast saw Shaodian and frantically pounced under the tree and roared at him. Shao Dian hurriedly drew his bow and aimed an arrow at the throat of the giant beast. After the giant beast hit the arrow, it jumped wildly and tossed for a long time before it died of exhaustion.

After a few moments, General Bear came and walked step by step to the giant beast, touched the corpse with his claws, and learned that it was indeed dead, before roaring up to the sky. In an instant, the bears rushed from the bottom of the valley, and there were hundreds of them, and they roared in unison, as if cheering victory! Sonic boom canyon, far away for tens of miles.

After that, the bears knelt down together and bowed their heads toward the tree. General Xiong walked under the tree, knelt down again toward Shaodian, and motioned for Shaodian to come down from the tree.

The youngster understood and hurried down from the tree and rode on the bear's back.

General Xiong rode Shaodian in front, and the bears lined up afterwards, sending Shaodian back to the tree where he rested. General Bear knelt down again and prostrated his head, and the bears also prostrated their heads before leaving.

Since then, Shaodian has become the bear's savior and made friends with the bear. As long as it is useful to the bear, go to the big tree and learn the bear to roar three times, and immediately the bear will come out for him to serve. One year, the wolf tribe that lived in Jishan (present-day southern Yuzhou) expanded northward. Clashes with the Shaodian tribe. The Shaodian tribe was defeated by the wolf tribe, losing a lot of land and suffering heavy losses. Later, Shaodian went to the big tree to learn the bear's call three times, and thousands of bears ran from the deep mountains and dense forests. Shaodian took the bears to drive away the wolf tribesmen and regained the land. Because the bear helped the Shaodian tribe rebuild its homeland, the bear was the bravest, and shaodian renamed the Shaodian tribe the bear tribe. The people of the bear tribe, feeling that they have bears to help each other, are very safe, and often boast to the tribesmen: "We have bears." Over time, everyone called the Shaodian tribe "there are bear tribes" or "there are bear tribes". Later, this tribe gradually became stronger and developed into a bear country, and Shaodian became the monarch of the bear country.
