Movie Network: In addition to this "Summer Without Cicadas", what other TV movies have you shot?
Lv Yulai: Last year I shot two TV movies, and one called "Very Show", which was also produced by the Movie Channel. "Summer Without Cicadas" is a particularly fresh and beautiful story about the life of Sichuan people, and "Very Show" is a suspense film, in which I play a network master to solve cases through the network.
Movie Network: Like you said, "Summer Without Cicadas" is a very fresh movie, and your performance in the film can also be described as fresh, the lily award judges think that your performance in the film is simple but very infectious and convincing, how did you do it?
Lv Yulai: Because this is a film about sichuan, and I am a Sichuan native, so the time and place are favorable, so in the process of acting, it will be more handy, and the process of shooting often makes me feel as if I have returned to the feeling of living in my hometown. It may also be because the script itself wants to express the understanding of Sichuan people on life, and the leisurely and optimistic attitude of Sichuan people themselves, which also helps me look more infectious as a character to a certain extent.
Movie Network: What do you think impressed you most about this character?
Lv Yulai: It should be his particularly simple attitude towards life, no matter what he encounters, he can solve it like a weathering rain. You simply don't feel his struggles and withdrawals in the face of difficulties.
Movie Network: In addition to the Lily Award, the films you have starred in in the past two years have often been recognized by some film festival awards, as an actor, how much do you expect from these awards?
Lv Yulai: In fact, there is not much hope and expectation, not too much to think about too many such things, many times winning the award should be a natural thing, natural things, it should be your time, think too much and will not have too much help.
Movie Network: Will the recognition of the Lily Award for Outstanding Actor be a certain encouragement to you to take on more TV movies in the future?
Lv Yulai: I think that when you meet the right role and a good script, it should be the most important.
Movie Network: The shooting cycle of TV movies is relatively short, what will be the different experience when you shoot TV movies and shoot general big screen works?
Lv Yulai: In fact, there are not many differences, but it is precisely because its shooting cycle is relatively short, as an actor, you must find the state more quickly and enter the role, it does not allow you too much time to slowly ponder and experience, so it is quite a test of the actor's performance skills.
Movie Network: The Lily Awards and TV movies provide many new directors and actors with a good opportunity to show their talents and accumulate practical experience, what do you think of the function and role of the Lily Awards?
Lv Yulai: I think it is true that the cost of TV movies is relatively low, so for directors and actors can get relatively many opportunities, it is also a very good opportunity to exercise.
