On the night of the performance, the actors sang the friendship praise of the Silk Road with exquisite performance, and also unfolded a "living Dunhuang mural" for the audience, and the dances such as "Thousand Hands Guanyin", "Rebound Pipa", "Pinglan Fairy Dance" and "Neon Dress Feather Dance" extracted from dunhuang painted sculptures and murals were presented on the stage one by one, which deeply touched the audience and won countless applause and applause.

Known as the "Milestone of Chinese Dance Drama", the dance drama "Silk Road Flower Rain" is the Gansu Provincial Song and Dance Theater with the world-famous Dunhuang murals and the Silk Road as the theme, with peace and friendship as the theme, through the Dunhuang painter Zhang and his daughter Yingniang and persian merchants suffering and sharing, life and death intersecting, with a unique artistic style, the magnificent and colorful Dunhuang murals on the stage, vividly reproducing the profundity of Dunhuang culture, singing the glorious artistic image of the working people to create Dunhuang culture. It praises the touching story of the friendly exchanges between the people of all ethnic groups in China and foreign countries on the ancient Silk Road and the people-to-people connection. Since the play was put on the stage in 1979, it has been performed for 42 years and has been on fire for 42 years, and has traveled all over the world, thus becoming a disseminator of Dunhuang culture and a spokesperson for Dunhuang symbols.
