When Mitch Hunter, a Veteran of the United States, was 21 years old, he experienced an accident that changed his life, and now he admits that he seems to be living in front of someone else's face.
The accident occurred in 2001, when Mitch was driving his wife in a car accident on the road, and unfortunately, there was an electric tower right in front of him, and Mitch drove straight into it.

At the moment of a thousand gunshots, he pushed his wife out of the car, but he suffered a 10,000-volt electric shock, which instantly penetrated his whole body and caused an explosion.
Perhaps by providence, Mitch was lucky enough to survive the accident.
But he lost his left leg, two fingers of his right hand and part of his memory, and his face was completely disfigured, which can be said to be full of sores.
Originally, Mitch had no hope in life, but when he learned the news that his wife was pregnant, he offered to undergo a face transplant.
Mitch said he had the courage to scare the kids later, and he wanted them to have a normal father.
In this way, Mitch became one of the first people in the world to undergo a full-face transplant, and a total of 30 doctors spent more than 14 hours reconstructing his face, replacing his nose and lips, and reattaching his facial muscles and nerves.
The brave survivor shared his experience on TikTok and has been working to remove the stigma of face transplants.
He said: "Before the transplant, I was often stared at and pointed at by others, and my life was greatly affected. ”
"But now, my face looks normal, even in public, there will be no different eyes."
Now mitch has become a father of 3 children and he is living a normal life.
But for this strange face, Mitch is still a little unaccustomed, he always feels that he is living against someone else's face...
