On January 21, 2022, the offline review of the "Sixth National Chinese Tiger New Year Ceremony Ceramic Design and Creation Competition" was successfully carried out at the Beijing Ceramic Art Museum.
Yue Feng, director and researcher of the Art Appraisal Center of the National Museum of China, Lu Pinchang, deputy secretary of the party committee, vice president and professor of Jingdezhen Ceramic University, and Chen Qiurong, vice president and professor of the School of Culture of Beijing City University, three well-known experts conducted offline evaluation of the works.
More than 500 ceramic art workers, teachers and students of colleges and universities actively participated in this event, and after pre-selection and recommendation from various porcelain-producing districts, more than 150 works selected for the finals were selected by offline experts and online voting, and 26 gold awards and 49 excellent award works were finally selected.
In order to tell the story of Chinese ceramics, carry forward the spirit of ceramic craftsmen, and strengthen cultural self-confidence, this competition takes "Zodiac Tiger" and "New Year" as the theme, focuses on art and life concept design, highlights the originality, thought and uniqueness of ceramic product design, and emphasizes the combination of culture, life and artistry of art ceramic design.
Show the innovative ideas and craft technology of mainland ceramic art workers, widely stimulate the creative enthusiasm of ceramic industry personnel, share creative inspiration, gather creative resources, promote the design and innovation ability of the national ceramic industry, and prepare a special "Chinese Tiger" New Year gift for ceramic lovers and all sectors of society on the occasion of the New Year.
