The first province to kick off the prelude to the change of provincial party committees has now elected a new leadership team.

According to the Xinjiang News Network broadcast by Xinjiang Satellite TV, on October 25, the first plenary session of the 10th Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China elected a new Xinjiang Party Secretary, Deputy Secretary and Standing Committee Member.

The Paper (www.thepaper.cn) noted that Zumurti Wubuli, Yang Fasen, and Hadan Kabin are the new members of the Xinjiang Party Committee Standing Committee.

According to the official resume, Zumureti Wubuli, female, Uyghur, born in May 1965, central party school university (degree), member of the Communist Party of China, currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee and vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region People's Congress.

Yang Fasen, male, Han ethnicity, born in February 1971, party school of the district party committee (degree), member of the Communist Party of China, is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, vice chairman of the district government, secretary of the Urumqi Municipal Party Committee, and secretary of the Hotan Prefecture Committee.

Hadan Kabin, male, ethnic Kazakh, born in March 1969, is a graduate student, a member of the Communist Party of China, and is currently a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Ili Prefecture, and acting governor.

According to a previous report by Tianshan Net-Xinjiang Daily, the Tenth Congress of the Communist Party of China in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region opened in the Xinjiang People's Hall on the morning of October 21.

The agenda of the meeting was: hearing and reviewing the report of the Ninth Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Committee of the Communist Party of China; reviewing the work report of the Ninth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the Communist Party of China; electing the Tenth Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the Communist Party of China; and electing the Tenth Discipline Inspection Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the Communist Party of China.

Xinjiang has also become the first province in the country to carry out a new round of provincial party committee changes.

According to the Regulations on the Work of local committees of the Communist Party of China, the party's local committees are elected by the party congress at the same level and are composed of members and alternate members, and the term of office is 5 years. The Standing Committee of the Party's local committees (hereinafter referred to as the Standing Committee) is elected by the plenary meeting of the Party's local committees (hereinafter referred to as the plenary sessions) and is composed of the secretaries and deputy secretaries of the Party's local committees and other members of the Standing Committee.

The above-mentioned regulations also stipulate that the number of members of the standing committee of provincial-level party committees is 11 to 13 people, and if it is necessary for individual localities to appropriately increase or decrease, it shall be decided by the party central committee or examined and approved by the provincial-level party committee in accordance with the spirit of the central government. When the party's local committees are replaced, the secretary, deputy secretary, and other members of the standing committee are elected by the plenary session and reported to the party committee at the level above for examination and approval.
