I am Little Sister Lotus, living in Switzerland, free time, like to raise flowers and vegetables. I hope to meet flower friends and vegetable friends to communicate together.

If I don't usually go to work, I like to grow flowers and vegetables at home. Watching their own flowers, flowers, herbs and vegetables grow up little by little from the seedlings, blossom, and bear fruit, which is particularly gratifying.

The backyard also made a relaxation area, and also made a pizza oven, barbecue grill, and earth stove. Winters in Switzerland are long, and spring and autumn are particularly short, so it's basically a barbecue area in the summer.

My yard is not walled, looking at a large piece of other people's pastures, wildflowers bloom in early May, pieces of very beautiful, at the end of May and the beginning of June, when there are continuous sunny days, the owner of the grass will generally come over and cut all the grass, dry it, and reserve it as a winter ration for cattle and sheep.

There are many kinds of flowers in my yard, most of which are perennial, and some of which are annual. Still groping, which season which flowers will bloom, flowers and plants gardening knowledge learning.

In addition to planting flowers, I also leveled a piece of land as a mini vegetable garden to grow vegetables.

This year's mini vegetable garden I planted cherry radish, spinach, coriander, Swiss greens, salad vegetables, these have been eaten several times, fresh spinach leaves sold in the supermarket is not particularly fresh, their own freshly picked to eat special fresh, satisfaction burst.

Beans, cucumbers, zucchini, and pumpkins have all just been transplanted. Although it is June, it is still not summer, and it has been rainy lately, and it is said that this year is the coldest and rainiest year in Switzerland since 2013.

I want to document my own process of raising flowers and growing vegetables here. Watching your yard change a little bit, from spring to winter, the four seasons rotate, changing is a different landscape, and what remains unchanged is simple life and mood.
