The Records of the Imperial Fragrance (Records of the Private Life of Empress Dowager Cixi) and the Records of the Weeping Blood of Yingtai (the history of the blood and tears of the Guangxu Emperor's lifetime). Both books were published before liberation and have not been published since liberation. The author, Deling, was the more favored of the seven female officials around Cixi. Most of what she writes about in the book is her own life experience. It has a certain reference role for readers to understand the court insider of the late Qing Dynasty and study the history of the late Qing Dynasty, so the Yunnan People's Publishing House rearranged and distributed its original book in early 1980s.
