LPL Spring Regular Season Week 2 Summary: There are many head teams, but EDG and LNG are superior

The second week of the 2022 LPL regular season has all ended, and the current regular season has entered the closing stage of the third week, for the second week of the game, the overall view is indeed a little change, but these changes are not enough to shake the status of some head teams, of course, for the tail team, their status is still very poor, so if you use a few keywords to summarize the second week of the LPL regular season, what will it be?

V5 is here!

LPL Spring Regular Season Week 2 Summary: There are many head teams, but EDG and LNG are superior

In the three years since V5 joined the LPL, in fact, most of the time they have been representatives of the lower teams in the league, only in the summer of 2020, when they finished fifth in the regular season and beat the FPX in the playoffs to advance to the next round. However, after that summer, the lineup also underwent major changes, and the status of the team began to return to before. In 2022, V5 decided to bring in strong players, forming a team of solid veterans, and the core was the former iG single rookie.

During the two weeks of LPL's Spring 2022 games, V5 is putting the victory back in their name. They currently have a 3-0 finish in the standings, with all wins coming against the 2021 Summer playoff teams. Their most impressive victory was against TES last week, as a former old teammate, old friend, Rookie and Karsa were not soft on TES, and finally won 2-1, in that series, Rookie played well, and won the MVP with a single hand in the decider. In the third week, V5 will have another tough opponent - WBG, and the showdown between Rookie and Theshy is bound to be the most noteworthy thing to watch.

LPL Spring Regular Season Week 2 Summary: There are many head teams, but EDG and LNG are superior

Like V5, UP made big changes during last year's transfer period. They introduced RNG Former Middle Single Cryin, the man known as the RNG Middle Road Defense Tower, and also selected the excellent ADC player Elk from WE. With the new roster, UP looks good, but unfortunately they've been on a bad start-season schedule for LPL's Spring 2022 tournament.

Their opponents in their first three games are arguably the top three favourites for the LPL's Spring 2022 championship. After a 2-0 win over LNG Esports, UP's second game against TES was a sight to behold, with UP stating that their series against TES was no fluke, and the subsequent game against EDG also forced the world champion team into the decider, although ultimately lost the match. After a 0-3 start, UP finally won their first win against LGD last week, and today it took IG 2-0, and it looks like they are slowly getting better, at least for now.

LPL head space is crowded, but EDG and LNG are superior

LPL Spring Regular Season Week 2 Summary: There are many head teams, but EDG and LNG are superior

The LPL has 17 teams, and only 10 make it to the playoffs, so the competition is fierce. This means that there must be several teams that are substantially bad and a few teams that stand out. But so far, there seem to be a lot of outstanding teams in the LPL Spring 2022. With less than a game between first and seventh, it can be difficult to gauge the strength of a team. However, two teams have performed even better than their unbeaten record suggests.

LNG and EDG not only achieved a 4-0 finish in the series, they both were 8-1 in the competition. For reference, RNG finished third with a record 4-1 but lost four minor matches. EDG and LNG don't have the toughest schedules. However, they scored 2-0 on almost every opponent. EDG and LNG are at the top of the table almost entirely for the entire LPL Summer 2021, and they've restarted where they left off.

The above is a summary of some of the highlights of the second week of the LPL spring regular season, and now the third week of the regular season is underway, but because of the Spring Festival holiday, there are only four match days this week, and the 27th is the closing day of the third week.
