Bali's quadruplets were born at around 1 p.m. on 21 January 2022 at Sanglah Central General Hospital in Denpasar, with one of the four babies being boys and the other three girls.
"The first one that came out was the boy, weighing 1,470 grams," said Vayan, an obstetrician-gynecologist at Denpasar Hospital.
"Then the second, third and fourth babies were all girls with an average weight between 1500 grams and 1400 grams," he added.
He said the parents of the four babies initially enrolled in the fertilization program and unexpectedly became pregnant with quadruplets. They had planned to give birth at 34 weeks of pregnancy, but on January 21, the mother of the quadruplets ruptured her membranes and immediately underwent a caesarean section.
