In 2018, Yangpu Xinjiangwan City Half Horse, Li Meizhen won the second place;

Li Meizhen is a senior student at the Shanghai University of Sport, in 2016, she followed the school's middle and long-distance running team to run, received a special invitation from the organizing committee, so she participated in the race, in that race, Li Meizhen won the third place, her time was 1 hour 16 minutes and 42 seconds.
In 2016, Li Meizhen entered the Shanghai University of Sport to study sports training. Since both her training and schooling were at the Shanghai Sports Academy, she was able to juggle both geographically.
From undergraduate to graduate school, her morning begins at 5:30 a.m., after two hours of morning exercises, she takes a shower and goes to class, in the afternoon she finishes studying to start the second exercise of the day, and she does her homework in the evening. Before 2018, Li Meizhen's special project has always been 800 meters, 1500 meters, once stood on the podium of the national competition; in 2019, she undertook the preparation task of the Wuhan Military Games and practiced orienteering; after the end of the competition task, she began to focus on long-distance running 5000 meters and 10000 meters; after the age of 20, she began to try the full marathon, and now completed 4 official all-Horse races.
Prior to this, in the 2014 Fujian Provincial Games, Li Meizhen broke the women's 1500m record in the youth department and the 3000m record in the youth department.
At the 2017 National Junior Athletics Championships, she won two gold medals in the women's 800m and 1500m. Later, she met the current coach Li Guoqiang and became the sister of Li Zhixuan, China's "marathon sister".
The 2020 Nanjing Marathon is 2 hours 37 minutes and 50 seconds, the 2021 National Games Marathon is 2 hours 36 minutes and 56 seconds, and the year-end test race is 2 hours 34 minutes and 33 seconds. The Shaanxi National Games held in September 2021 is Li Meizhen's second trip to the National Games.
At the 14th National Games in Xi'an, Li Meizhen reported two events - 10,000 meters and marathon.
In the women's 10,000 meters, there was only one shot in the final, 19 athletes competed for three podium seats, and Li Meizhen rode out of the dust after firing the gun, opening up the gap with the rear group. After that, her lead was slowly eroded, and she was "pulled up" by herself, and finally chose to withdraw from the competition.
"He (Coach Li Guoqiang) didn't expect me to run like that, and the marathon was the most unexpected, I was able to finish and PB, he was stunned."
Li Meizhen recalled, "My coach thought that Li Meizhen would be thankful if the marathon could be finished, and that day the rain was so heavy, the marathon track was full of variables, and I myself had no confidence in whether I could finish the marathon smoothly." ”
In fact, before the National Games, all of her training systems were around the track race 10,000 meters, did not do systematic training for marathons, and did not even conduct long-distance lessons of more than 30 kilometers. After the 10,000-meter fold, Li Meizhen, who did not prepare for the marathon at all, had no bottom in her heart and once wanted to abandon the race.
"After the 10,000-meter run that night, my mood was not very good, and I told Teacher Li that it was no better than the marathon, and I didn't practice during this time."
After a night of reflection, she decided to set foot on the track. "After all, it is held every four years, how do you know without trying it?"
Stepping on the starting point and completing the race, Li Meizhen believes that this is the most correct decision she made before the game.
For the unknown of 42.195 kilometers, she finally finished 9th with a new personal best of 2 hours, 36 minutes and 56 seconds, beating a group of athletes who had previously had a higher PB than herself.
She said, "After that game, my body hurt for a week, it was so uncomfortable. ”
