Movie Description: A remote mountain village, a slowly rolling hill, a path with dust, a story about youth. Kang Yu is a lively and playful girl, at the age of her love Dou dou, she met the young teacher Jin from Seoul, from the first sight of seeing Teacher Jin, she liked him, excited, uneasy and even helpless; at home, she was the eldest, responsible for taking care of the little brother who was still in infancy, liked to fight with her mother, and from time to time bullied her younger brothers and sisters, in her growth process and poor and simple life, because of these small episodes and full of vitality, but also made the quiet tone covering the whole film have a cheerful and bright embellishment, Very cute kind and a little bad temper girl. In front of Teacher Jin, Kang Yu is a shy little girl, she quietly likes Teacher Jin, and tells her admiration for the teacher through her diary. "Why did the teacher touch me?" An unintentional joke made this stubborn girl think for a long time; under the tree, on the side of the stage, in the bright moonlight, different scenes, the same is a girl's endless waiting, and every simple exchange can make Kang Yu happy.

Kang Yu is in love with Teacher Jin, but Teacher Jin is in love with teacher Yang, who is also beautiful and generous from the city. Fate made a kind joke on these three men. Kang Yu was always full of unwarranted hostility to this beautiful and dignified female teacher. The process of growing up, the world in the eyes, slowly spreads out and extends, as if the spring wind Buddha crosses the water, the geese skim over the forest tops, such a simple feeling seems to be experienced by each of us when we are young, familiar, familiar, familiar. In the simple times, even feelings are dusty and holy.

While focusing on portraying love, the film also expresses the teacher-student relationship between teachers and students, teachers and students with different personalities, through the delicate lens refracts the colorful light, their organic fusion, constitutes a healthy and positive tone of the whole film. Beautiful small mountain village, full of vitality; clean and bright shots, set off a group of people who are often happy and occasionally sad; melodious lyrical soundtrack, I believe that people who have seen it will be moved.

Finally, Teacher Yang left, she did not accept Teacher Jin's feelings; a few years later, Teacher Jin also left the small village, and the final shot is Teacher Jin holding the records and diaries given to him by Kang Yu, and for a while she was full of emotions.

Teacher Jin said in the last class: I hope you will remember me many years later, when you are married and old. When the end credits rolled on the silver screen, Mr. Jin's wife was listening to the record many years later, and the record was given to him by Kang Yu. A faint melancholy hit the heart again, and I have never felt so clearly that the drama is like life, and life is like a drama.

Behind the scenes

Movies that show first love are always as pure as spring water, and the crush on the teacher in "The Organ in Memory" adds a hint of adolescent bitterness. Almost all the audiences who have seen this film will be touched by this youthful but sincere feeling. With fresh and elegant brushstrokes and delicate and conveying details, the film depicts a wonderful first love while also praising the selfless dedication of the teacher. The plot of the story is quite elaborate, and the voice of love in the form of a diary is both reasonable and unexpected. Although the lead actor Jeon Do-yeon was 26 years old at the time, her outstanding acting skills performed the various emotions of a first love huaichun girl, which was unforgettable, and she also won the best actress at the 37th Korean Film Grand Bell Awards and the best actress at the 20th Korean Film Blue Dragon Awards. The film received rave reviews after its release, and eventually won the Best New Director and Best Supporting Actress Awards at the 20th Korean Film Blue Dragon Awards.
