On the afternoon of January 24, the 7th China Football Celebrity Forum 2022 was held. Well-known coaches, experts, heads of professional football clubs, youth training workers, football industry and media representatives of Chinese football participated in the forum. Among them, Huang Shenghua, chairman of Guangzhou City Football Club, made a special speech on "Rethinking Chinese Football" at the forum.
Huang Shenghua analyzed the problems that appeared in Chinese professional football in the 2021 season and came to three conclusions -
The stock reform of domestic professional football clubs is an inevitable direction in line with international trends;
For the healthy development of the Chinese professional football league, it is necessary to establish a promotion and relegation league system from the Chinese Super League to the regional level of at least 5 levels in terms of competition format;
At this stage of Chinese football, youth training must be promoted in sections, layers and different subjects, and should neither engage in disorderly competition nor a simple one-size-fits-all approach.
