The Post: Attacks have increased, with Premier League players hiring retired SAS Special Forces to protect their families

According to the Daily Mail, some Premier League players have hired retired SAS (British Army Special Forces) Special Forces to protect their families.

Lindelof's wife revealed last week that she had encountered gangsters at her home and that she and her children were forced into hiding and locking themselves in their room when the gangsters broke into their home while Lindelof was playing with the team against Brentford. Lindelof's wife then returned to Sweden, which she described as painful and horrific.

In late December last year, Manchester City defender Hassello was attacked by four gangsters while out with his family, and the Portugal international was beamed and his belongings were robbed. Not only that, the Daily Mail revealed last year that Orson, a goalkeeper on loan at Everton at the time, was attacked by knife-wielding gangsters in his home.

Both Manchester clubs communicated with the players who were attacked and carried out security checks, and the everton and Liverpool players were also aware of the situation and shared the information with Burnley. It was revealed that some players from the North West England club set up discussion groups to share the situation to better protect their families.

The Daily Mail later said that with a series of attacks, some players had trained dogs at home, and some players sought help from private security companies, who hired retired SAS special forces to protect their families. In addition, clubs have also taken action to protect the safety of players, such as prohibiting the sharing of information to the media during the specified period of time and conducting security checks on potential residences of new recruits.
