According to Marca, Bayern look intent on hitting Barca further, and they are intent on poaching Frankie De Jong from La Liga giants.

Bayern hope to sign the 24-year-old De Jong in January, and their representatives have reached out to De Jong's agent and informed of interest, meaning the last week of the transfer window will be very important for the future of barca stars.

Marca said Bayern had often caused trouble for Barca in recent years, such as their attempts to sabotage Pedri's contract extension and their intention to poach Dest, but the Red and Blues also fought back, seeking to bring in Bayern centre-back Jules and asking about the possibility of signing several youngsters in the Bayern academy.

Bayern will make a comeback in the summer without signing De Jong in January, with the Bundesliga giants seeing the Dutchman as a long-term option in midfield.

Romano tweeted: Newcastle will push for Jesse Lingard's deal again in the coming hours, with the Magpies top brass struggling to sign Jesse Lingard at least until the end of the season, when he will become a free agent.

Newcastle is in talks with both Manchester United and Jesse Lingard's team of agents.

Brentford is in deep negotiations to sign Eriksen to a short 6-month contract and the deal won't break the club's salary structure.

All parties have reached an agreement on the transfer, but the deal is still not expected to be officially confirmed in the next 48 hours, as Brentford is undergoing a full check of Eriksen's physical condition and the midfielder will also need to apply for a work permit.

Sky Sports said that due to a cardiac arrest during the game seven months ago and the subsequent implantation of a defibrillator, Eriksen's current medical examination is much more complicated than the ordinary signing process, and the Danes can only register for Premier League matches if they are approved by the club's designated kinesiological cardiologist.

Given that Eriksen is currently a free agent, Brentford is in no hurry to close the deal before the Jan. 31 transfer window closes.
