　　In 1935, at the age of 17, Zhang Ruifang was admitted to the Western Painting Department of the Beiping National Art College and participated in drama activities. In 1938, Zhang Ruifang joined the Communist Party of China, and later entered the Roar Drama Society, the China Drama Art Society and other actors. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, she has successively served as an actress in Beijing Film Studio and Shanghai Film Studio, starring in nearly 20 films such as "Li Shuangshuang", "Mother", "Three Years", "Home", "Spring Water Dingdong" and so on, and won the Best Actress Award of the Hundred Flowers Award of Chinese Film.

Huaihai Apartment, formerly known as Gaiskang Apartment, also known as the International Savings Association Building, was built in 1935, funded by the International Savings Association, designed by The Company of Zhao'an, and built by the Sino-French Construction Factory, in a modernist style, named after the Great Ban GaiSikang of the International Savings Association.

The façade of the main building is symmetrical in the central axis, gradually falling from the middle to the sides, with three protruding white vertical strips in the center, the outer wall of the first floor is blue-gray marble, the outer wall above the second floor is pasted with beige tiles, and only the balcony panels on each floor are white. In 1994, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced that the main building was an excellent historical building in the city. In 1999, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced Building No. 2 as an excellent historical building in the city.
