Jiya Apartment is full of celebrities

  In 1935, at the age of 17, Zhang Ruifang was admitted to the Western Painting Department of the Beiping National Art College and participated in drama activities. In 1938, Zhang Ruifang joined the Communist Party of China, and later entered the Roar Drama Society, the China Drama Art Society and other actors. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, she has successively served as an actress in Beijing Film Studio and Shanghai Film Studio, starring in nearly 20 films such as "Li Shuangshuang", "Mother", "Three Years", "Home", "Spring Water Dingdong" and so on, and won the Best Actress Award of the Hundred Flowers Award of Chinese Film.

  Located at No. 311 to No. 331 Hengshan Road, Jiya Apartment is known as the concentration of celebrities in shanghai, and well-known movie stars such as Zhang Ruifang, Shangguan Yunzhu and Shu Xiuwen have lived here. It is understood that Zhang Ruifang moved into jiya apartment late, when it was moved from the apartment of No. 288 Hengshan Road.

  Jiya Apartment was originally called Huisle Apartment, also known as George Apartment, and was renamed Jiya Apartment after 1949. Jiya Apartment was designed by Fan Wenzhao Architects and has a reinforced concrete structure. Fan Wenzhao is a famous architect in the history of modern Chinese architecture, graduated from the Department of Architecture of the University of Pennsylvania, and was also one of the first members of the Chinese Institute of Architects, founded in 1928.

Huaihai apartment is simple and modern

  Zhang Ruifang's other former residence is Room 316, Building 2, Huaihai Apartment, No. 1206 Middle Huaihai Road. Huaihai Apartment, formerly known as Gaiskang Apartment, also known as the International Savings Association Building, was built in 1935, funded by the International Savings Association, designed by The Company of Zhao'an, and built by the Sino-French Construction Factory, in a modernist style, named after the Great Ban GaiSikang of the International Savings Association.

  Huaihai apartment is divided into two rows, the front row of the second building is a five-story apartment building, and the back row of the main building is a thirteen-story reinforced concrete structure. The façade of the main building is symmetrical in the central axis, gradually falling from the middle to the sides, with three protruding white vertical strips in the center, the outer wall of the first floor is blue-gray marble, the outer wall above the second floor is pasted with beige tiles, and only the balcony panels on each floor are white. In 1994, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced that the main building was an excellent historical building in the city. In 1999, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government announced Building No. 2 as an excellent historical building in the city.
