In Liuba County, Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province, there is such a township, it "faces the Shu and backs the Qin River", because of its special geographical location and unique scenery, it is known as "Shaanxi Province Tourism Characteristic Town" and "Chinese Tourism Characteristic Town", which is Huoyaodian Town.
In the 29th year of the Qianlong Dynasty (1765), when Liuba set up the hall, it followed the Ming Dynasty Lijia system, and changed the Shunzhi, Lecong, Jialin, Bamiao, and Yongxing Wuli to Anshan, Wuguan Eryi Eleven Li, Twenty-four Jia, the second Station was Anshan Yi and Wuguan Yi, and the fire shop belonged to Wuguan Yi.
At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Huoyaodian area was under the jurisdiction of Baocheng, Nanzheng, Mian (Mian) County, and Liuba County, forming a special natural village and town.
In the early years of the Republic of China (1912), the fire shop was assigned to Liuba County. After the change, the fire shop belongs to the jurisdiction of the Tiefodian District of Baocheng Town.
In March 1950, the Tiefodian District, which originally belonged to Baocheng County, was transferred to Liuba County as a whole, and the fire shop was returned to Liuba.
In 1951, Huoyaodian was established as a township, which belonged to the jurisdiction of the 5th District, and the 5th District was stationed in the Subway Fodian, with jurisdiction over 7 townships: Tiefodian, Huoyaodian, Baijiadian, Shangxihe, Zhongxigou, Shangnanhe, and Xiananhe Township.
In May 1953, Huoyaodian Township was transferred to the jurisdiction of Wuguanhe District.
In 1956, Liuba District was withdrawn and merged with townships, and the county was set up as a total of 14 townships, and Huoyaodian Township was called one of them.
On November 1, 1958, the establishment of Liuba County was abolished, and except for some parts that were transferred to Hanzhong City, the rest were merged into Feng County, which was changed to the Huoyaodian Management District of Liuba People's Commune in Fengxian County.
On September 2, 1961, after the restoration of Liuba County, it was changed to Huoyaodian People's Commune.
During the Cultural Revolution, huoyaodian people's commune was renamed Hongwei people's commune, and in 1973 it was restored to its current name.
In 1984, Huoyaodian was re-established as a township, and the township government was located in Zhongxigou Village.
In 2011, Hanzhong City implemented the withdrawal of townships and towns, Huoyaodian Township was changed to Huoyaodian Town, the town government was stationed in Huoyaodian, and today, Huoyaodian Town has jurisdiction over 8 administrative villages of Zhongxigou Village, Shijiayuan Village, Yankan Village, Tianxingliang Village, Yaofangba Village, Foyeba Village, Dundun Shi Village, and Taiziling Village, with a total area of 182 square kilometers and a total population of only more than 3,000 people (the total population of Liuba County is only 47,000).
The origin of the name of the fire shop is quite interesting, it is said that a long time ago it was the only way for merchants to travel, there were many merchants in the town, when the construction of the house was mainly wood, and then these shops would encounter a fire every once in a while, and gradually people were accustomed to calling this place by the fire shop, as to whether this was the case, it was impossible to verify, but the name of the fire shop was really quite distinctive, so that people remembered it at once. Huoyaodian Town is surrounded by mountains, from the northwest to the southeast confluence of the West River, and then from the west to the east with the Tianxingliang River in Huoyaodian confluence into the Wuguan River, the Wuguan River divides the market town in two, pacing across the Moon River Bridge, opposite there are also scattered seven seven eighty-eight people's homes. Due to the crisscrossing of rivers, open mountains and mild climate, Huohuodian Town has become one of the main grain producing areas in Liuba County. The main production is rice, wheat, corn, potatoes, beans and so on. In 1953, the fire shop began to build a fire shop forest farm.
There is an agricultural culture experience garden in Yankan Village, west of the town government, covering an area of more than 200 acres, where there are fresh lotus gardens, winding green plant corridors, as well as production and living utensils display corridors in southern Shaanxi and melons, fruits and vegetables for tourists to pick. There is the first youth natural growth camp in southern Shaanxi, which adopts the mode of outdoor study tour courses to create mountain, pastoral and forest classrooms, leading children to understand various traditional agricultural tools, feel the farming culture and pastoral life. The hundreds of scarecrows in the Scarecrow Theme Park either recreate farming, or turn into childhood memories, or transform into strong folk customs. There are also special experience projects such as archery, slingshot, ox cart, flower palanquin, sightseeing train, etc., which closely combine ecological agriculture, pastoral scenery and agricultural experience to create a rare fresh countryside in the city.

With the efforts of the government, Huoyaodian Town has won the outstanding grade of the annual comprehensive assessment of the county party committee and the county government for 5 consecutive years, and has been rated as "Shaanxi Provincial People's Satisfaction Cadre Demonstration Unit", "Advanced Unit for Propaganda, Ideological and Cultural Work at the County Level and In Urban and Rural Areas of the Province", and "Famous Town with Tourism Characteristics in Shaanxi Province".
In recent years, Huoyaodian Town has taken the construction of "the most beautiful town in Qinling Mountains" as its goal, adhered to the development idea of "idyllic scenery, leisure life, and pension home", vigorously developed rural leisure tourism integrating leisure vacation, parent-child education, agricultural experience, and pension health care with tourism to promote agriculture and strong tourism, attracting tourists from all over the world to come to sightseeing and tourism. In 2017, Huoyaodian Town received a total of 180,000 tourists, with a comprehensive tourism income of 16.7 million yuan, providing jobs for 107 people, and 30 poor households profited from it by directly or indirectly participating in rural tourism development.
On June 7 and August 12, 2017, Huoyaodian Town held the first rural tourism cultural festival and "Honey Hunting Festival", once again comprehensively introducing rural tourism and agricultural products to the market, so that tourism poverty alleviation benefits are getting bigger and bigger.
