On Sunday afternoon (January 23), local time, people opposing the authorization of the COVID-19 vaccine held a march in Washington, D.C., with participants including doctors, firefighters, teachers, first responders and other groups. In the population, multiple people repeated fallacies about vaccine side effects and the risk of long-term damage. There have been more than 70.5 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the United States, claiming more than 865,000 American lives to date.
