According to the Russian Television Station (RT) reported on the 23rd, Russian star and Instagram blogger Angelina Kuznetsova and a female friend took indecent photos exposing their buttocks in front of the window of a hotel room, and the background of the window was a famous church. The photos sparked public outrage after their release.
Kuznetsova took a set of prominent photos in a room at the RentHouse hotel in Yekaterinburg, Russia's Ural region, opposite the Great Admiralty Church in Zlathost. Built in the 19th century, this historic church is one of the well-known tourist attractions in the yekaterinburg metropolitan area.
Kuznetsova reportedly took the photos in exchange for free accommodation at the hotel, but when the photos were posted on social media, local people and other hotel guests were furious.
"We received hundreds of messages from our guests saying that their religious feelings were hurt by these photos." Dmitry Shabalkin, the founder of RentHouse, wrote on Instagram. "We took immediate action to even blacklist people who might trigger a similar situation." This means they will never be guests of our hotel. On behalf of the company, as well as I personally, I apologize to religious believers who have been offended, and I warn some Instagram bloggers that we don't support them showing their personalities in this way. ”
Shabakin confirmed that Kuznetsova stayed at the hotel from December 18 to 20 last year and received a 50 percent discount on room rates, but he claimed he was unaware of any specific transaction and would investigate who agreed to it. After the incident, Kuznetsova set her Instagram account as a private account.
It is the latest in a series of "church indecent photos" scandals in Russia. Earlier this month, Pollina Morukina, a 24-year-old female influencer, faced scrutiny from law enforcement agencies for taking nude photos outside The Cathedral of Our Lady of Fili in Moscow. Last November, Rita Fox, an adult Russian film star, was sentenced to 14 days in prison for "misconduct" after posting a series of nude photos of her buttocks taken in front of president Vladimir Putin's official residence. Last October, a court in St. Petersburg, Russia, released Irina Volkova, a 36-year-old model, who was detained by police for revealing her clothing and taking pornographic photographs of St. Isaac's Cathedral.
