The Jiufo community on Longhu Street also held a tea party for the elderly and a garbage sorting publicity activity of "Caring for the Elderly, Loving the Sunset". In this activity, in addition to the special steward to popularize science to everyone, the elderly also talked a lot about the garbage classification in their own lives, and gave their own classification experience and suggestions.
"This bottle of mineral water after we drink today is recyclables. These banana peels that have just been eaten, 'pigs can eat', that is, kitchen waste. An old party member smiled and said: "When I threw the garbage, I saw that the color of the bag used in each garbage can at the drop point was different, and the color of the bag and the garbage can were the same." In order to facilitate my own sorting, I also bought different colored garbage bags at home, which can be seen at a glance! ”
The Tianyun community on Longhu Street also held a Chongyang Festival garden tour that was integrated with garbage classification and publicity at the community party and group service center on this day. Volunteers and elderly people on the spot explained the knowledge of garbage classification, and guided the elderly on the spot to sort the remaining peels, packaging bags and used paper towels from the garden tour activities.
Tianyun community garbage classification manager sighed that after a long period of garbage classification publicity, community residents know more and more how to classify garbage, and the accuracy of judgment on recyclables and kitchen waste has increased. Mistakes are few and far between, and the volunteers' guidance is not strenuous.
