A few days ago, the election of the chairman of the Chinese Kuomintang came to an end, and former chairman Zhu Lilun was re-elected with more than 80,000 votes. Zhang Yazhong, the president of SunWen School, who won more than 60,000 votes, is bullish, and some supporters are optimistic that Zhang Yazhong will run for mayor of Kaohsiung on behalf of the Kuomintang in 2022, hoping to replicate the precedent of former Kaohsiung Mayor Han Kuo-yu "returning to glory". Zhang Yazhong responded that it is completely "the wrong direction" to find someone in every election, and that the KMT's selection of the mayor of Kaohsiung "cannot be considered entirely from a human point of view, and that we should first think about how to resolve the issue of cross-strait hostility.

As for whether 2022 is willing to represent the Blue Camp to select Kaohsiung or other county and city chiefs. Zhang Yazhong said in a political discussion program on 27 July that the DPP's operation in Kaohsiung is like a big tree, and it has established a set of cross-strait hostile tactics through the exposition of "hatred of China" and love for Taiwan.
Zhang Yazhong pointed out that when he was electing party chairman and attending a political opinion conference in Kaohsiung, he put forward a set of propositions on "fighting from top to bottom," that is, ideological confrontation, such as the beginning and end of the "228" incident, what is the history of Taiwan, and what did the KMT do in Kaohsiung? After being launched by the KMT Central Committee and loosening the roots of the DPP, the DPP Central Committee will be able to fight very well, and it is necessary to break the dpp's roots, which is good for Taiwan.
Zhang Yazhong continued that if he just wanted to win all day, and the cross-strait issue was left like this, what if he finally won Kaohsiung? There is still a possibility of war breaking out between the two sides of the strait, and the candidates for mayor of Kaohsiung and Tainan should not think entirely from the perspective of people, but should think about how to solve the problems of "the core values of the Kuomintang, whether there is a gap between the powerful elite and the grass-roots level within the party, the lack of long-term combat effectiveness, and cross-strait disputes."
Zhang Yazhong stressed that the KMT should first establish a set of systematic ideological concepts and expositions, and without establishing a huge political force, it is looking for people every election, not every time. Today, I am looking for who to choose the mayors of Tainan and Kaohsiung, which is completely the wrong direction. The KMT should think about how to resolve the issue of cross-strait hostility, and when this problem is solved, what else should the DPP choose? There was no choice at all, and it was immediately defeated. (Editor/Hung Wai Sang)
