On February 8, 1986, this day is the Chinese New Year's Eve of the lunar calendar, and it is also the last day of the lunar calendar 1985, when people from other parts of the country return to their hometowns and reunite with their relatives, some people cannot go home, because they still have to hold their positions, they want to protect the country they love, this day is very happy for them, but at the same time it is very sad, because they cannot return to their hometown to be reunited with their relatives, they give up their small homes for our country. They are the People's Liberation Army guarding the Laoshan position.
At that time, in the Laoshan position, on this day, the deputy squad leader of the first cooking class of a certain department and the squad leader of the second squad went to the front line with condolences to visit the soldiers with condolences, and the hearts of the soldiers were needless to say that they were very happy. On this day, several people in the class insisted on staying on the 169 and 149 highlands, a group of people gathered together for the New Year, and because a reporter came to the company, the big guys were busy cooking, and everyone's heart was full of New Year's happiness. On this day, the soldiers who insisted on the position kept taking photos with the reporters and college students who came to the position to offer condolences, and also kept telling them about the course of the battle, introducing to them the positions we were holding and the position of the Vietnamese army.
These people from all over the country left their hometowns on the day of Chinese New Year's Eve and ran to the front line to comfort the soldiers who participated in the war, and the soldiers were very grateful in their hearts, but they were still very worried about their safety, because in case the enemy's artillery fire came over and an accident occurred, it was very unworthy.
At noon, several reporters also returned from the interview, and the soldiers gathered for dinner, and they were also very happy in their hearts, so they raised the camera in their hands and took many photos, and the New Year's meeting of the position on this day, the table full of rich wine and dishes, and the happy smiling faces of the soldiers looked particularly different under the background of the cat ear hole. A reporter couldn't help but shed tears when he left, not knowing why.
After sending the reporters away, the soldiers continued to be lively, everyone toasted each other with a cup of you and me, the atmosphere was very happy, and everyone was drunk with points when they left. After returning to the high ground to get their own sentry positions, several warriors went into the cat's ear hole and fell asleep, but the tears in their eyes could not be controlled, and they kept flowing out, covering their eyes with something that could block them.
In the afternoon, one of the soldiers' eyes was unfortunately injured, and in the evening, every soldier was immersed in joy. In the early hours of the morning, the guns suddenly fired in unison on the position, and for a time, grenades and signal flares formed a very beautiful colored flower on the position, interpreting the atmosphere of the special festival.
