The large-scale national dance drama "Ashima", based on the Yi narrative poem "Ashima", was newly rearranged after nearly 30 years and was officially performed at the Yunnan Provincial Song and Dance Theater on the evening of July 15.
In 1992, the dance drama "Ashima" premiered and received great attention. "Ashima" takes "love" as the main line throughout, telling the poignant and touching love story of Ashima, a girl of the Yi ethnic group, and Ahei, the shepherd.
It is reported that the rehearsal public performance organized the original creative team Zhao Huihe, Zhou Peiwu, Tao Chun, Min Guangsen, Wanli and other core teams to shoulder the heavy responsibility of creation again, following the original plate structure without scenes, black, green, gray, red, gold, white, blue 7 different colors of the dance section in turn, with color to show affection at the same time, portraying the inner world of different characters. At the same time, the play takes the Yi folk song as the main melody, integrates many distinctive ethnic instruments, and highlights the strong Yunnan folk style.
According to the main creative team, the rehearsed dance drama "Ashima" is not a simple reproduction, from the actor arrangement to the dance choreography, from the costume props to the music and lighting, from the stage background to the presentation method, it has been refined and improved, aiming to make "Ashima" bloom with new brilliance.
