Live Bar January 22, League One side Sunderland officially announced that Manchester City midfielder Roberts has joined the team permanently.
Born in 1997, Roberts debuted at Fulham, joined Manchester City in 2015 and was subsequently loaned out to Celtic, Girona, Norwich, Middlesbrough, Derby County, Troyes and many other teams. During his loan spell for the Celtics from January 2016 to May 2018, Roberts played in 78 games, contributing 18 goals and 26 assists.
Roberts, meanwhile, was a member of england's U16-U20 teams, winning the European U17 Championship in 2014 with England U17. Sunderland officially announced today that Roberts has joined the team permanently from Manchester City for 6 months, and Sunderland has the terms to decide whether to extend the contract.
