Martyr Jiang Huilin (1897111933) was a member of the Communist Party of China. A native of Songjiang County, Jiangsu (now part of Shanghai).
The father of the martyr Jiang Huilin, Jiang Yaochen, was a former Qing Xiucai, a private school teacher, who also managed the pediatrics of traditional Chinese medicine and had a poor family. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Jiang Yaochen and his friends proposed to stop private schools and open schools, running and working hard, accumulating fatigue and illness, and the martyr lost his father at the age of eight. The livelihood of a family of six is even more difficult.
The martyr's mother, Ni Zhenyao, was resolute in nature and often said that people are poor and will not be poor, and they are unwilling to bow to people and beg for pity. She succeeded her as a private school teacher and a pediatrician of Traditional Chinese medicine, shouldering the burden of life alone. Comrade Hui Lin was deeply influenced by his mother, and since childhood he has developed a character that is not afraid of hardships and has a sense of justice.
When he grew up, he longed for cultural knowledge, asked his uncle to teach him to read, worked tirelessly, and made rapid progress. In order to fulfill her aspirations, her mother implored Ding Yuexian, the principal of Jingxian Girls' School, to allow her to study for free. Hui Lin studied hard and achieved remarkable results.
After graduation, he taught himself for three years, and his cultural knowledge was slightly rooted. Comrade Jiang Zhaolin, the younger sister, originally set up another Jingxian Branch School in the East Gate of Songjiang County, and she cooperated with her sister to teach at the Jingxian Branch.
At that time, it was the period of the May Fourth Movement, and the promotion of new cultural movements arose in various places, especially the liberation of women, which was deeply yearned by the young generation. Hui Lin and his sister Zhaolin joined hands with Zhu Yaxiong and others to establish the Songjiang Branch of the Heavenly Foot Society.
The martyr was so disgusted that she was so disgusted that she liberated herself every night and always kept her feet. When publicizing the Heavenly Foot, she appeared to say that the female compatriots against the feudal resistance to foot binding increased their courage, strengthened their confidence, and achieved good results.
At this time, Comrade Hou Shaoqiu (a member of the Communist Party of China) and Comrade Zhu Jigong (a leftist of the Kuomintang) who were originally from Songjiang returned to Songjiang and jointly set up schools, founded newspapers and periodicals, and held lectures with other progressive young people in order to change customs, propagate revolutionary ideas, establish party departments, and carry out anti-imperialist, anti-warlord, and anti-feudal revolutionary activities.
Zhaolin, Huilin and other young people accepted the influence of Comrades Hou Shaoqiu and others and participated in the revolutionary struggle. At that time, the Songhu area was still a region ruled by reactionary Beiyang warlords, huilin, Zhaolin and their mother Ni Zhenyao were not afraid of the persecution of the warlords, and resolutely cut their hair braids, especially her mother was an old woman of fifty or sixty years old, and she could be persuaded to cut her hair together, which really had a great impact on society at that time.
In 1926, Comrade Hui Lin disregarded the love of his family and children, pursued the truth, and defected to the revolution. This winter, he returned home to visit his relatives, suddenly suffered from severe typhoid fever, high fever did not recede for half a month, and his consciousness was unconscious.
The medical cloud is already fierce and less auspicious, nine deaths, so he has to use the dead horse as a living horse doctor, in order to seek a desperate life, and even to be able to live from the dead. Her family advised her to recuperate more after a serious illness, and she said that the task was on her, and she was also uneasy at home and could not recover from illness. So, in less than two months, he returned to work.
In 1927, Chiang Kai-shek betrayed the revolution and defected to imperialism and launched the "April 12" counter-revolutionary coup. Comrades Hou Shaoqiu and Zhang Yingchun, members of the Communist Party of China whom Comrade Hui Lin admired, were arrested by the reactionaries, secretly killed, and their corpses destroyed, which further aroused her hatred for the Kuomintang reactionaries, and she realized that only the Communist Party could lead the revolution and save China.
At this critical juncture of the survival of the revolution, Comrade Hui Lin, out of his absolute sincerity in loving the party, the country, and the people, disregarded the young daughter who was still two years old and wanted her to raise, nor did he care about the elderly mother who took care of her, and still less did he care about the white terror and bloody prudence of the reactionaries.
Through the introduction of Comrades Jiang Changpu and Li Zhongyi, he joined the Communist Party of China and vowed to contribute everything to the revolution. After joining the party, she went to Fengxian and, under the leadership of Comrades Liu Xiao and Li Zhongyi, served as a traffic liaison officer for the Fengxian County CPC Committee, and worked with Jiang Zhaolin, a member of the CPC, who was already in Fengxian, under the cover of the open occupation of the female school supervisor of Shuguang Middle School.
At that time, Xu Yaping, Fan Zhichao, Liu Dechao, etc. were also working in Fengxian, and comrades called Zhaolin a big ginger and Hui Lin a small ginger. Xiao Jiang often said that some people think that the starting point of the revolution is "love", but I think it is "hate", hate everything in the old society, use the revolution to beat it up and destroy it completely!
A comrade asked her what would happen to you if she was unfortunate enough to be arrested? She replied without thinking: "The revolution is not afraid of death, and it is easy to kill him." We believe that the Communist Party will be able to save China, and I personally throw my head and spill my blood in exchange for the happiness of future generations!
In April 1928, after the Zhiguang Middle School was closed by the reactionary county government, Comrade Hui Lin was ordered to move to the south bridge of Fengxian County, continue to engage in underground work, and then immediately transferred back to Shanghai to serve as a traffic officer in the songpu special committee of the CPC.
Soon, in order to strengthen the ties with the underground party in Nanhui County and to cover the activities of the responsible persons of the county party committee, the special committee also sent places to work in Xinchang Town and Zhoupu Town in Nanhui County.
Under the pseudonym Shi Xian, under the cover of practicing medicine and other social identities, he established a secret organ of the party and carried out work under the leadership of Comrade Wu Zhongchao, secretary of the county party committee.
During this period, Comrade Hui Lin often did not conform to his personal safety, and bravely and tactfully transported secret party documents, propaganda materials, guns, grenades, and other weapons from Shanghai to Fengxian, Nanhui, and other counties.
On the eve of the Fengxian Zhuang riots, Comrades Chen Yun and Yan Pu, responsible persons of the Matsuura Special Committee, personally attacked and manufactured earthen grenades in Shanghai, which needed to be sent to Fengxian in time for violent use. When Comrade Hui Lin learned of this, he took the initiative to ask for the task of transporting weapons.
After consideration, the leader agreed to her request and told Xiao Jiang the traffic route, explaining the danger on the road, checking strictly, and telling her to pay attention to safety. Xiao Jiang said emphatically, "I will also go down the knife mountain, what am I afraid of?" Tigers also doze off, and there is no river in the world that cannot be crossed. ”
Dressed as a rural woman, she wore a green cloth cotton jacket, a large apron around her waist, wrapped grenades in old clothes, placed them in large bamboo baskets of agricultural products, and calmly set off on the road.
As soon as she arrived at the dock, she saw a group of pseudo-police officers inspecting the passengers, and she looked around for an opportunity to pass the inspection to complete the heavy task entrusted to her by the party.
Three pseudo-police officers are arguing over seizing the passenger's silver dollar and gold ring under the pretext of inspection. She hurried forward, as if ready to be examined, as if to see what the false police had robbed of their belongings.
The pseudo-policeman saw her come up in anger and shouted, "Go! go! Hui Lin pretended to be afraid in front of the enemy and took advantage of the situation to board the ship.
On the way, the ship was searched again, and by this time she had already put the grenade under the belly plate of the boat. The inspector came to her, saw that the basket was only some agricultural products, and went to the basket. In this way, you have passed the second hurdle.
In the evening, when the boat was about to arrive at the dock, she beckoned the boat boss and said, My home is on this shore, because there are serious patients at home, I am bothered that you let me go ashore immediately, so that I will not go back to the dock in the dark. The captain of the boat saw that she was a local, so he pulled ashore and let her go up.
In this way, Comrade Hui Lin evaded the inspection on the dock and passed the last hurdle. She completed the mission in time after disembarkation. The next night, the victory of the Zhuang Xing rebellion was successful, dealing a heavy blow to the arrogance of the reactionary government, and publicly punishing the bullies who were extremely indignant by the people.
In the autumn of 1929, she was transferred to shanghai Huxi Xiaoshadu and Hudong Yangshupu factory areas to work, she still assumed the pseudonym Shi Gui, listed as a chinese medicine pediatrics practitioner.
After the rain, he also founded a primary and secondary school in Yuezhou Road, Hongkou District, as a foothold for carrying out revolutionary work. During the day, children of workers are recruited, and cultural cram schools for female workers are set up at night to teach reading culture and propagate revolutionary ideas.
Due to the lack of funds, manpower and the narrow place of activities, every morning I had to get up, first arrange the tables and stools for class, and then make a bunk in the evening.
In addition to teaching classes every day and covering all the chores, when holding cultural cram classes during the winter and summer vacations, they also carry paste buckets and long brush brooms to the road and in the lanes to post enrollment advertisements.
Every night after the night class, he went to engage in underground revolutionary work, such as sending intelligence and documents, attending meetings, and so on. One night when he was out to work, he was being stalked by bad people, and the situation was very dangerous, comrade Hui Lin was witty and brave to deal with it, managed to shake off his tail, and returned home at midnight, covered in mud and tired.
She said to her son, who was waiting for her, "If one day I can't come back, something will happen." But revolutionaries cannot be killed and killed endlessly, and you must turn grief into strength, study hard, inherit my legacy, and fight for the liberation of the working people.
In normal times, Comrade Hui Lin is as vicious as a vendetta and is not afraid of rape. One day, after the female workers' night school was closed, there were hooligans blocking the road and bullying, so she rushed forward despite the danger and escorted the female workers home.
She said: "We women have been bullied and persecuted for a long time, and this kind of day should be over." We must unite and fight against all evil forces in order to be free from their oppression. After that, she followed the route of the female workers to go home, and asked them to form a squad so that they could take care of each other, and if they were violated, they would rise up and attack them.
In this way, it not only ensured that the female workers could study with peace of mind, but also made them realize that unity is the revolutionary truth of strength, at that time, Huilin's work was very difficult and arduous, and the situation was more dangerous, but she was always full of confidence, and she worked hard to do a good job, and never had the slightest fear of difficulties.
She often said: "Revolution means dealing with difficulties, and to do revolution we should work hard, work hard, match words with deeds, and do what we say, this is the real revolution." ”
In addition, Huilin often visits the homes of workers and cares about their suffering. She saw that many workers' children were idle at home because they did not have money to go to school, and adults were very uneasy about working outside, so she took the initiative to mobilize parents to send their children to school for free.
Some children have no money to buy textbook supplies, and she tries her best to solve them. When a child is sick and left unattended, she takes time to see, care for, or help take care of her to the hospital.
I remember that one hard winter evening after school, a few primary school students sat on the side of the road and did not go home, Comrade Hui Lin went over and asked them why they did not go back? The child said: "In the morning, my mother said that today's salary will be paid, and she will have to wait for her to buy rice and come back to cook and eat." ”
Comrade Hui Lin carried them back to the school, gave them a meal of his own, and then sent them back, because he was anxious to go out for a meeting, drink a cup of boiling water and go out.
The next day, the child's mother came to the school, took her hand and said, "You are really our sweetheart!" Tears flowed straight down.
At this time, Hui Lin's son, who was studying in the countryside, because his family life was very poor, always had to default on tuition and miscellaneous fees every semester, and the school was very unhappy with him. Once, during class, the teacher reprimanded him, saying, "There is nothing difficult in the world, but I am afraid of the old face." ”
Because he did not have money to buy schoolwork supplies and did not do homework well, he was subjected to all kinds of corporal punishment, which was a common thing, and the child was regarded as an uneducated grandfather student, so he was often ridiculed and insulted, which made his young heart hurt deeply.
He said to Comrade Hui Lin: "Mother, you are also a student who has no money to study, why do you care about them so much?" She burst into tears after listening to it, she said: "We are all suffering people, the most able to experience the taste of suffering, so we must care for each other, unite to overthrow the old cannibalistic Old Duhui, build a happy new society, the poor can live a good life." ”
Comrade Hui Lin said and did so. The working people living nearby at that time and Comrade Hui Lin were really brothers and sisters, sharing hardships and hardships. When they have difficulties, they always have to come to Hui Lin for consultation, and when the school has difficulties, they always take the initiative to help solve them.
When they encounter goons, hooligans, spies, etc. to extort and extort money, they will come forward to block it, and the crowd is large, and they argue according to reason, so that the bad guys dare not do evil entanglement. Comrade Hui Lin often said, "If you are a threesome, you will have my teacher." When things happen, we can rely on our workers' brothers and sisters to solve problems. ”
In 1932, Comrade Hui Lin was transferred to Nanjing to work in the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. Nanjing is the old lair of the reactionary Kuomintang, with secret agents running rampant, the military and police densely packed, fascist atrocities rampant, and darkness.
The comrades were very worried about her safety, the elderly mother asked her to take care of her, and the four children were not yet adults, and she was needed to cultivate and educate. If you go to Nanjing to work, there are specific difficulties. However, she resolutely said that as a communist party member, we should put the interests of the party first, and when the party needs it most, it should go all out regardless of personal gains and losses.
She said: "Do not go into the tiger's den, get the tiger, in order to defeat the enemy, even if you go to the soup and fight the fire, you must also execute." She resolutely rushed to Nanjing, reported to the Jiangsu Provincial Cpc Committee, accepted the party's arrangements, and conscientiously started her work, which was appreciated by the organization.
Unfortunately, in the winter of this year, she was arrested and imprisoned, and the reactionaries threatened and seduced her to force her to confess, saying that after confessing, she would be released and returned home to be reunited with her old mother and children. Hui Lin was unmoved and unyielding.
The enemy tortured Hui Lin, even twisting his eyeballs, and blood flowed instantly. However, Comrade Hui Lin was awe-inspiring in his righteousness, mighty and unyielding, never uttered half a word, protected the party organization and comrades, and fulfilled the duties of a communist party member.
In prison, she kept in touch with the party and continued her struggle. The enemy tortured her for a long time, but still got nothing, and in the first half of 1933, she was poisoned and secretly killed in Yuhuatai, Nanjing. Comrade Hui Lin was only thirty-six years old when he died gloriously.
