Defensively, give way, penalty time
First of all, we need to look back at the 2018 F1 Hungarian Grand Prix.
In the Grand Prix, Hamilton set off from pole position and Bottas followed suit. Verstappen withdrew on lap 5 due to engine failure and Hamilton pitted from the lead on lap 25, but Vettel didn't come in until lap 39 and failed to overtake Bottas. Mercedes then issued instructions to give way to Bottas, ricciardo to fourth place, and Bottas finished in fifth place. He was later awarded a 10-second penalty for causing a collision, but that didn't change his final standings. Hamilton won the race with a 17-second lead over Vettel and Raikkonen finished third.
Perfect wingman
At the 2018 F1 Hungarian Grand Prix, the Mebben team had hoped to finish one or two, but after Valtree Bottas crashed back-to-back at the last minute and was overtaken by Ferrari. Still, team boss Toto Wolfe praised him as the perfect wingman for the championship-winning Lewis Hamilton.
"It feels a little bittersweet, I'm really happy for Lewis and I regret for Walteri that he deserves second because he's such a good wingman – that would have been nice." Wolfe added.
Wingman hurts
