Painter Ma Guangping

Ma Guangping, painter. Born in 1968, a native of Zhenyuan, Gansu Province, he is a member of the Gansu Provincial Artists Association. He now lives in Beijing, focusing on Chinese painting figures, flowers and birds. He was a visiting scholar at the Figure Painting Studio of Liu Dawei, Chairman of the China Artists Association. He was educated by Liu Dawei, Shi Guoliang, Pan Gongkai, Zhang Lichen, Chen Dali, Liu Jian, Huo Chunyang, Guo Shifu, etc. The original intention of the work is to pursue the path of literati painting, based on the realism of the style, and integrates traditional Chinese painting and Western art elements. He has participated in many exhibitions at home and abroad and has been collected by foreign collectors.
