Prosecutors talk about the history of integrity - four teams with strict discipline

Four detachments, one of the four main forces in the early days of the New Fourth Army. Formed in the spring of 1938. Commander Gao Jingting and chief of staff Lin Weixian, a total of more than 3,100 people. The 4th detachment created the anti-Japanese base area in the west of Jinpu Road in Huainan, centered on the lotus pond in the southeast of Dingyuan County. In February 1941, it was reorganized into the 4th Brigade of the 2nd Division of the New Fourth Army.

In March 1938, the four detachments of the New Fourth Army, under the leadership of commander Gao Jingting, marched east to resist the Japanese. In April, it entered the east and west ports of Shucheng County. The east and west ports became the command centers for the four detachments to carry out anti-Japanese guerrilla warfare in the western Anhui, central Anhui, and eastern Anhui regions.

During the period when the four detachments were stationed in the East and West Ports, they were strictly disciplined, did not take a needle or a thread from the masses, did not harass the masses, cherished the property of the masses, borrowed things from the masses, and returned them on time, and compensated according to the price if there was damage. A certain soldier borrowed a pair of gates from the people's homes for sleeping, and if they accidentally broke the tenons, they compensated according to the price of the new door. During the period when the regiments were stationed, they often went out to fight the devils, and before leaving each time, the squad, company, and platoon commanders had to check whether the things borrowed by the soldiers from the masses had been returned, such as bowls, chopsticks, benches, door panels, etc., and whether the residence was cleaned before leaving. Warriors who break discipline are severely punished, ranging from confinement to execution. In particular, the issue of relations between men and women is dealt with most seriously. If they are found to have had an improper relationship with a woman, they are severely punished and a notice is posted to show their guilt.
