The second joint maritime exercise between China, Iran and Russia was held from January 18 to 20 in the waters of the Gulf of Oman. The Chinese side sent the guided-missile destroyer Urumqi, the Integrated Supply Ship Taihu, the carrier-based helicopter and 40 Marines to participate in the exercise. Russian media released a video of the scene of the exercise.
