IT House learned that "Squid Game" is a thriller suspense TV series produced by Netflix, directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, and starring Lee Jung-jae and Park Hae-so, which was launched in South Korea on September 17, 2021. According to Bloomberg, internal Netflix data shows that the series "Squid Game" is expected to be worth nearly $900 million for Netflix.

The series' first month of viewership set a Netflix record, with more than 132 million viewers watching at least two minutes, up from Netflix's 111 million viewers announced last week. This creates about $891 million in "impact value."

Netflix's key profit indicators in the third quarter, EPS, surged 83% year-on-year, net paying subscribers increased by 4.38 million, doubled year-on-year, or added 8.5 million in the fourth quarter, all of which exceeded expectations, and turned down after hours of more than 2%.
