A few hundred words to talk about classic cars, the Alfa Romeo Iguana is a concept car that Alfa Romeo produced in 1969. It was designed by the Italian design firm Girgetto Giugiaro, an interesting and influential concept car from an authoritative Italian designer.
A preview was made at the Sports Motor Show in Monza and officially unveiled at the Turin Motor Show in 1969. Although it was not put into production, the iguana was reflected in Giugiaro's later works. The Iguana's body was painted sheet metal grey, while the roof frame and cabin struts were finished in brushed metal, which Giugiaro later treated DMC DeLorean.
The 1995 cc aluminum V8 engine delivers 171.5 kW (230 hp) of power at 8000 rpm and is capable of reaching a top speed of 260 km/h (161.6 mph) – in 1969.

Such is the case with Giorgetto Giugiaro's iguana, which may not have been produced directly by Alfa Romeo as a commercial car, but Giugiaro referenced this design in much of his subsequent work in the 1970s, and cars like the Maserati Bora and Merak were apparently born from Iguana' inspiration, using techniques such as brushed stainless steel components and also achieving DMC's DeLorean (back to the future car), although with mixed reputations.
